Anyone in the Dothan or Enterprise Alabama using SDS100 to listen to NXDN?

The LCN is shown in the Sentinel Database from where you did the add to favorites, you will just have to write the numbers on a piece of paper and then enter them in your favorite, no easy way to do a copy and paste.

If this works, you will still hear the Enterprise Police on the STREETS frequency but should also hear them on the City Of Enterprise Trunk System. If that a problem hearing in two places, that is easy to fix.

Not sure if it matter but since it is easy to manual add them, I would take the time to do that, better safe than sorry, and not have something work. Do it for both ones you added to S&P.

Ok.. will update LCN 91-95 for Eprise pd in S & P.. Let you know if it helps..otherwise..I need to listen a while and get back to ya..but as of now EMS,1 time, is the only responder to Streets dispactch..which i have heard now 6 or 7 times since reload..

Now that you wrote the new info to the scanner, when it is scanning, do you see the the City Of Enterprise scroll across the screen? I wondering if the police have actually moved to the new truck system or everything is setup so they can move sometime.

Also, to be clear, I don't have to worry about Quick Keys or any other changes at this point, right? Once I update LCN and reload, I will listen a while and let you know if our changes are good..E'prise EMS and Streets dispatch are L&C..5x5. And Thank you so much for your valuable time.. I'm finally confident we will get this sorted.. I wilol get backto you this evening and let you know what i hear..

Quick keys just make it easy to turn on and off systems, sites, etc, but now the scanner will just scan everything

Yes. I see it. Eprise Fire EMS have responded, though i did not hear Streets call them every time.. put police? Ok it showed Fire Dispatch, then Streets said PD is route..but never heard any pd traffic. Ok I hear other traffic on Streets too but no idea who.

If the scanner stop on a frequency that has City Of Enterprise on the screen near the middle, that means it is on the trunk system at that time. You should be able push the soft key associated with Channel and hold there. If it stops on Police or EMS and City of Enterprise is not somewhere on the screen, then it is pickup the traffic from the conventional systems. To get of the hold, just push the soft key again.

And as of now, 5+hrs later after we reloaded the 436, no police traffic I can see. Sometimes there will be a different voice on the Street, as though 2 people are taking using the same freq.

I am happy with what the pictures on your scanner screen are showing. The Elba Fire Dispatch is coming over the S&P Trunk System showing RAN:9 and TGID:4010 which matches the Sentinel database. The City of Enterprise EMS Dispatch is coming over the City of Enterprise Trunk System showing RAN:9 and TGID:2500 which also matches the database plus Enterprise Fire Dispatch is also coming of the C of E Trunk System and showing RAN:9 and TGID:2421 which matches.

Looks like to me both NXDN Trunk System are working. Changing the City of E Trunk frequencies to RAN:9 seems to fix that.

Question: in the first picture, it is showing the Streets conventional, one frequency of 156.1950Mhz but that same frequency is also part of the other 2 Trunk Systems. Do you remember what agency was talking (Fire, EMS, Police). I am not at least surprise that frequency is getting hits since it is part of the 5 frequencies in the trunk systems.

The real surprise is: if you aren't hearing the Enterprise Police, what changed.

Please check your information in Sentinel favorites that you wrote to the scanner and make sure that the conventional STREETS entry still shows a Service Type of "Law Dispatch" and didn't get switched back to "Public Works".

From the above comment about hearing 2 people talking on the 156.1950Mhz frequency - that is very likely and maybe the two aren't even talking to each other, they may be from different agencies. The whole concept of Truck System is to share frequencies amongst different agencies versus each agency having its own frequency. What separates the different agencies on a Trunk system is the TGID which for example all Enterprise Fire units should have TGID:2421 so they only hear each other.
