Inter Agency System

The referenced system is for Manatee & Sarasota counties ONLY. Its a way for cross county incidents to communicate directly since Manatee is EDACS Analog and Sarasota is Motorola Digital P25/3600. From the sounds of the article its just radios at each dispatch center that allow for selected groups to be patched together.
This is the MotoBridge system
The system is a way for the counties that CHOOSE to PAY AND PARTICIPATE in the system allows for the various I-Call and I-TAC channels.
The state has setup systems on I-Call and Tac one in each of their areas. Some of these systems are simulcast systems, some areas are voted steered. Hillsborough & Pinellas are simulast, Polk is voted steered. The state dispatch center can force vote sites, can disable/enable repeaters, and cut off TX from the outside agencies if needed.
The idea being a way to allow users on the local and state systems to interact, with the difference in radio systems from Tampa on UHF, Manatee, Pasco, Hills. on EDACS analog, Pinellas, Polk, Orange, Hernado, Citrus on Motorola analog, Sarasota Motorola Digital (3600).
There are problems from user use (users switching to conventional & the NSPAC MA channels) and understanding, to simply the modules are MUTED on the consoles at the dispatch center, at least at the state level.
