Possible yes, probable not really. Camden County uses AES 256 bit encryption. It would take many lifetimes for someone to figure out the encryption key with even the fastest computers.

Sure, if you tried to figure it out yourself. I would imagine some radio techs (albeit on a small scale) would start leaking the keys, like the few trunked system keys that have been leaked over the years. And you never know, someone could develop the right software needed to decode it instantaneously, like DSD does with DMR color code and slot info on DMR frequencies. My opinion is there will eventually be something out there floating around. A boy can dream, can't he? lol

With the trunk system now in full use, would it be safe to assume that all of the VHF and UHF frequencies formerly used by Camden County are now depreciated and out of use or has that equipment been maintained for the time being as a back up in case of catastrophic TRS failure?

Does the County Police patrol any other town besides Camden?
and which Towns are not going over to the county system? at least they may still be in the clear on their own channels?

As of right now the only police in the clear in Camden County are Cherry Hill (EDACS 800), Gloucester Township (P25/Analog 500 MHz conventional), Rutgers (or Rowan) Camden (155 MHz conventional), and PATCO Police (500 MHz conventional). I'm not sure if NJT River Line Patrols still use AAR 72 or if they have switched over to something else. NJSP is still in the clear as well.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.1.2; en-us; LG-LS720 Build/JZO54K) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

So is this basically saying that Winslow is getting their own site?

I am not home during the day, which is when the maintenance TG's would most likely be active. I suspect they just use cellphones most of the time. I have heard them, but not often or recently.
