I believe It would be what each instance of proscan is using as a database file on your pc and not on the scanner.

I got the SD Card out of my SDS100. Which I didn't think I would be able to do. I put in the adapter, then in the SD Carder. I formatted it. I took it out the SD Card Reader. But now, I can't get it out of the adapter.

Any ideas?
TIA

Depending on the card reader you have, you may need a needle nose or tweezer to remove. I had one where the card got pushed in to release it. Some are a pain.

I saw videos' on YouTube saying the same thing about using tweezers. The SD Card won't pop out, from the SD Card Adapter. Even a millimeter.

When you say adaptor, your talking about this, right?

If so, generally with it laying flat, and a finger holding the adaptor down, ones thumb nail can usually grab the lip on the end of the sd card and pull away from adaptor. If holding close to where micro sits (red x) it will be difficult as that would be compressing that area essentially holding the micro in place.

Try holding down on the end of adaptor opposite from end micro goes in (green circle) and use thumb nail on other hand and pull away.

Alternatively you can also pinch the end circled in green and use thumb nail on other hand to work it out.

Yes, I am referring to that one.

I got it out of the SD Card Adapter. I was originally thinking. I shouldn't pinch the SD Card Adapter. Now, to get it back in the SDS100.

I tried that. A couple years on my BCD436HP n' broke the latch. I had to send it in out-of-warranty, to replace the latch n' upgrade the SD Card.

Not sure why people remove these cards in the first place. My 436 card has been programmed many times yet the card has only been removed 3 times. And the time that the garbage latch gave issue was the last time.

The card in my 200 has never been out.

Glad you got it out.

I tried reformatting it, in the scanner. But Win11 didn't see it. That is why, I had to use an SD Card Adapter to re-format it.

Cards can be formatted in the x36 and x00 series scanners as long as when prompted on the scanner, one chooses mass storage mode. Possible yours was not in mass storage mode when trying to access it when it was plugged in?

It was in MSM. It wasn't being recognized. Which is why I had to re-format the SD Card in my PC.

I would check that the cable is the one that came with the scanner and is plugged directly into a usb port and not a hub.

If your pc is not able to see the scanner as a msm then something is not working properly. You should be able to see the scanner in your device manager if all is working properly while in mass storage mode.

You should also see the scanner while in serial mode as well.

If I remember correctly, if the necessary Uniden files aren't on the SD card and you're trying to do this directly in the scanner, it has to be off prior to plugging in the cable. I normally perform the task via a USB/SD Card reader too, but if you don't have one, this is the other option.

Who is you ISP?
When you plug up the USB Cable to the Scanner Does the Scanner Beep and display on the screen Y/YES for Mass Storage?
It sounds like you may not have User Rights or Sentinel does not have Rights.

At present, my ISP is Spectrum, but. I may be switching to Brightspeed.

It beeps, when I:

1. Turn it on
2. Go into MSM
3. Turn it off
