So is it fixed now?
The rest of us use Windows 11 Sentinel and Proscan.
Can you upgrade Proscan now?
If the answer is still no you need to find a True Computer Shop and get the problem fixed.
Yes, It is fixed. Now have 23.5 for Proscan and same current version of Sentinel
Something is mixed up. You should be able to upgrade ProScan. That has nothing to do with the scanner read/write functions.
After he tweaked several things. Proscan started working with my SDS100, it never stopped working with my BCD436HP. Sentinel started working with both, again. Sentinel was more a concern. Because of any F/W n' HPDB updates.
The answer you were given is BS. Plenty of people running win 11 without issue. Plenty not having any of the issues your having.
What does he (frank) say is the exact reason in win 11?
After making use of Windows 'Quick Assist'. He only said I would have to do a complete reinstall of Win11 or, rollback the PC to a previous date. Neither of which, am I willing to do at any point in the near future.
I am just glad my SDS100 is able to work with Proscan again, and. Sentinel is working with both my BCD436HP n' SDS100.
Best advice I can give you at this point.
#1 Go to Walmart buy a True Windows 11 PC running the full-blown version of Windows not the stripped down version.
#2 Load Sentenial and Proscan.
#3 Use this PC for nothing else not even EMAIL.
Because you have loaded something that has corrupted folders in your current PC and has caused you problems.
I don't need to bother with that. It is fixed.
