Can anyone confirm if the Colchester site (34) is an active site? I can’t seem to get it on my G4 even with the site and RFSS set to wildcard. Today I drove 85 from montville to Salem town hall and nothing.

Pretty sure 34 is not in Colchester. It was at one time when the 700 was coming online but shut off quite a while back. That was the second ERV truck channels and I haven't heard it times I have passed through that area while looking. It could be very low power but I doubt it.
Site 34 is currently offline but I see it as a Neighbor of Troop L only while currently looking at B, C, H, L, & Hartford.

K Simulcast is active but not the Colchester site in the database as Site 34.
K capacity upgrade is underway and more voice channels may appear in the not too distant future.

I have been picking up both Site 1/1E (Troop K) and Site 1/22 (Colchester) this evening from Chesterfield Fire, in Montville, just down the road from Salem Town Hall, on Route 85 with my Unication G5.

New voice channels will absolutely be appearing as Motorola completes the Troop K site upgrade.

Lets hope those upgrades also include the firmware update that I hear is needed to get Newington PD online. :)

Listening to the Newington Analog Feed, they have been having a LOT of trouble with their old system as of late.

I wouldn't be surprised if the firmware update is for the Newington radios and not for the system. CTS folks are always working with various manufacturers getting radios to work properly or better with CLMRN.

Cool. I haven't tried out SDRTrunk yet as I think DSD+ is better suited for what I do, but I still want to take SDRTrunk out for a spin one of these days....as well as OP25 on my Linux box.
I stated with OP25 years ago, but was such a pain to compile and run since I was moving between computers somewhat regularly at the time.

Then I found DSD+ and got the Fastlane shortly after. It's my main decoder and I love the integration with the database, download a couple csvs and you're on your way.

I only found out about SDRTrunk because I redid my feed computer and wanted to try something different than DSD+ & virtual audio cable. I also found out about the calls system on Broadcastify that way too. I haven't checked for updates recently, but my main annoyance with it is it still tunes a dongle to a group even if you don't have listen enabled for it, so there's a chance you could miss a call you actually want to hear so it can sit silently on something you don't.

I tried messing around with the NooElec dongles years ago. Wasn't able to get much going with them. Put them aside for a while then tried again tried like a year later and was never able to get them to decode anything other than FM broadcast. My biggest issue was massively outdated or conflicting info. I ended up getting a P25RX, and it's my favorite radio-related device that I own. By far the easiest device to set up. Took about 2 minutes from plugging in the USB cable the first time to receiving. Customization obviously takes a little longer. I've had it running 24/7 for over 3 years now with only minimal downtime. It has no issues with scanning CLMRN.
