Newington seems to be off of digital today, after successfully monitoring for the past few days.

Not seeing anything on the SDS-200 nor SDR Trunk. And listening to the analog feed it seems they had an antenna switch, as its not coming in to well at my office in Hartford.

All other services from the New Britain Simulcast are coming through fine.

BTW I was told that Newington would also be available via Troop H as the New Britain Simulcast does not cover the entire town, but I have not picked them up there yet.

There has been activity on the Newington EMS talkgroup as recent as 12:40pm today. There are no RIDs displaying so still a patch. Unk if it is to VHF or UHF channel.

Until more radios are online and they are ready to switch over completely, I wouldn't be surprised of any down time on CLMRN.

EMS will remain a patch for Newington, as they are not moving to the digital system.

Newington has been having lots of issues with its analog police system this week. I am sure they will be very happy when they are off the old system.

Like to mention, Newington EMS has a couple radio IDs that showed up 944002 and 944027 sounded like EMS transmission not DISPATCH they showed up a few times, but not much.

Not sure what those ID's are as I am still being told by the PD and FD that EMS is and will only be a patch.

(Can only go on what I am being told, I do trust what your seeing as I am seeing it as well.)

Since they have AMR as the daytime coverage and when they can't schedule a crew, they need to have a patch that covers AMR and other mutual aid coming in.
That wouldn't mean that they wouldn't have access to the trunked system with town issued radios. I would imagine that there are town mobiles and portables for the duty crews if they are NEMS.

Just saw an affiliation for radio number 106864 in talkgroup 32992.

I currently have the radio and talkgroup tagged as Town of Bethlehem.
Can anyone confirm or deny?

Thanks in advance
