Hello All
So I wanted to program some of the frequencies for MA State Police that are on the new P2 system. When I try to import from ProScan using Radio Reference I only see conventional trunked frequencies in there. Do I need to program that stuff manually?

Thanks in advance!

Thx for the response! I do realize the P2 is not rolled out for all areas. I wanted to try to import some of the P2 frequencies even if not local to me. When I import through radioreference from proscan I can't seem to see any p2 systems. Am I missing something or it needs to be done manually since it's not rolled out to all areas? Hope this makes sense...

As you mentioned "conventional trunked frequencies", which is contradictory, make sure you are selecting data under "County Trunk Systems" for starters. I am noticing that CoMIRS is not listed when using Essex County. However, if you use Middlesex County you will see "Commonwealth of Massachusetts Interoperable Radio System (CoMIRS)" as a selection. All of the system's sites and talkgroups will be within that section.

Ahhhh that is probably the issue! I'm not in front of my computer but I believe I was trying to select them from the "state systems". I will check it out!

Thank you!

for now, your Essex Sites will be best found at

Unless you are southern Essex near Revere for some of these
but you will hear very little MSP on Massport, Cambridge or the 700 overlay at this time

Somewhere on my home computer, I have the various "zones" for the new system. Note that's not the correct term, but I can't recall it off the top of my head. As has been mentioned in the past the new P25 system will be much more granular than the current mostly analog system.

You'll find the information here,
