DSD PLUS 1.7 Trunking ??

hey everybody this might be a dumb question but does anybody know how to edit the frequency file for System 381 here in SD to follow the CC and the voice channels ??

Con+, 381, 004, 01, 452.8500, 457.8500, 1.0
Con+, 381, 004, 02, 452.2750, 457.2750, 2.0
Con+, 381, 004, 03, 452.5000, 452.5000, 3.0
Con+, 381, 004, 04, 451.5750, 456.5750, 4.0


PS: i think i'm editing this file wrong...?

You may wish to clarify the version of DSD+ you are using as the answer may vary with version used.

There is a DSD v1.7 which is not DSDPlus (DSD+) - Clearly not using this as it does not use a frequencies file.
There is DSDPlus public release currently at v1.101
There is DSDPlus Fastlane release currently at v2.228


Entries look OK with the exception of the following:
The 'sortOrder' value your using should be "1", "2", "3", "4" not "1.0", "2.0", "3.0", "4.0".
Not sure if that would be causing problems though.


Have you also added entries to the DSDPlus.networks and DSDPlus.sites files?

DSDPlus.sites:

Con+,381,4,"Mount Coolidge"

i have the DSD Plus 1.101 but i dont have the Fast Lane plugin...so im just using the 1.101 to listen to the audio and track it..

Are you using FMP as the tuner source (SDR dongle) or using a line in/virtual cable as a source (either SDR# or scanner discriminator tap out)?
Your not going to get trunk tracking (to other frequencies) with only one FMP + DSDPlus or line in/virtual cable + DSDPlus.

Yeah, you will see to call activity but only hear voice traffic on slot 2 of the CC like that.

If you don't see much activity on slot 2 but it shows more activity on other frequencies, then it maybe better to program in the other frequencies and scan them letting DSDPlus decode when there is activity on those frequencies.

Or time to go SDR.
Get DSDPlus Fastlane and one or two SDR dongles and you can't go wrong.

10-4 on that SDR Dongle.... i have one, but should get another one..

DSD+ 1.101 will trunk track a Con+ system if a dongle plus FMP, or an Airspy plus FMPA, is used as the second receiver.

Frequency entries should use odd LSNs (1, 3, 5, 7, ...), not sequential (1, 2, 3, 4, ...)
