DSDPlus DSDPlus Fastlane Update V2.228 on 12/21/2019

From DSDPlus -h output:

Decoder options:
-r1 role is single-receiver control/rest/traffic channel decoder [-r1]
-rc role is dedicated control/rest channel decoder
-rv role is dedicated voice channel decoder
-rp role is passive digital decoder

Looks like the default role is now 1R / single receiver, and that requires a TCP connection.

If you're using a WaveIn audio source (line/mic in, virtual cable), pick a different role.

Which file to I have to edit to change the 1R back to -r1 ? Will this fix FMP24 also? I just updated and nothing is working.

Where do I find the menus? I've only had to edit the bat files in the past. Not to experienced with this.

I should also note that after updating my files with the new file versions downloaded today, my installation works with no issues. I haven't tried to fine tune my audio yet, but it is acceptable atm. Not as good as OP25 or my hardware radios, but acceptable. I use 2 SDRs with DSD (and UT2, one with OP25.)

i find this quite cool, not been big into Amatuer radio but sure is interesting

Whats this about? i cant get a TCP connection,

start FMP24.EXE -rc -i1 -o20001 -s1 -b7 -n0 -g40
Start DSDPlus -r1 -T -fa -i20001 -O NUL -PBmp3 -M32 -m1 -v4 >>DSD.log

No TCP connection because of the FMP24 error.

The 'Mutually exclusive command line option present' error is because of the '-rc' when '-s1'.
If you remove '-rc' it will work or if you remove '-s1' it will work.

Is there a way to keep the site loader window allways open? Pressing L every time when you want to move quickly from a network to another is a little impractical.

Wow, this update has a LOT of improvements. I got caught in the "not using TCP" web for a while, and even had a "menu, what menu?" spell, but everything is working now.

FWIW, my update was complaining about my .sites file as well. No formatting errors, commas all where they belong... but I changed all the site IDs to hex instead of decimal and everything is back to normal. Which honestly suits me just fine. I'd rather use hex than decimal anyway.

Hmm, you are using hex site IDs? I'd like to see that.

In DSDPlus, site IDs are in decimal. In DSDPlus, P25 WACN/Network IDs are in hex. In DSDPlus, DMR/NXDN Network IDs are in decimal.

Since this new opiate I have not been able to start dsd+exe.. it says FMPA/FMPP/FM24 is signal source ; auto polarity detect is disabled.
audio output device 1=speakers/headphones IDT High
audio output device 2 = communications Headphones IDT
audio output device 3= Line 2 Vir Audio Cable
audio output device 4= Line 1 Vir Audio Cable

DSDPlus.sites file not in working folder
DSDPllus P.25data file not found
DSDPlus.siteloader file not found
Required data files not found in working folder

I only use a icom R7100 receiver tapped discriminator feed to computer to decode

Any help

I never had this problem before updating previous versions of fastlane

Thanks but I’m not that great with this computer stuff .
How do I even get to open event log window ant then menu system to choose passive digital monitor??
When I start DSDPlus.exe it freezes with the light blue box. All my other versions started and info scrolled down the screen and the other screens also opened .
When it was first set up years ago someone on radioreference did it for me remotely.

I am lost with this lol
I have to get someone to set it up this current way now with the remote setup from there location to my computer!
I know much about radio communications ect but
Computer stuff is a whole new ballgame.
