So far every Freq I've seen for Duke is a CC or a SCC; meaning any frequency can become the CC at any time.

FWIW, after sleuthing a dozen Duke sites in Indiana today, I noticed the DSD+ P25data text file did NOT record all of the data. For some sites it only logged the site number, and CC freq. Luckily I snapped a picture of my computer screen with my cell phone for every site, as I received them; then edited the image to write the geographic site location on the image. Since a lot of the frequencies are reused on several sites, and the P25data file doesn't indicate geographic location, it's best to somehow record the geographic location with a site number, especially if you're going to be logging multiple sites.

Keep in mind that for a peer that was not directly monitored it will show two lines, one being the sys/site and the other being the ch num and cc freq.

Once you monitor that specific site direct, the stanza will contain all info

If you are saying you monitored a site directly, and that site did not have full results in the P 25 data file, then that’s some oddity that I’ve never seen before

The latter is correct. I have pictures that show the data in the DSD+ Event window, yet the data is not in the P25data file.

Well that sounds like a bug then. You might want to consider writing the author and explaining that you think something is going on with the tracking data not being immediately written to the P 25 file

I've seen that from time to time, for whatever reason new data doesn't get written to the file(s) immediately. Sometimes hitting the "d" key to disregard the current system or "n" key to rebuild the neighbor list/band plan will trigger it to write to the file(s). Otherwise, try shutting down and restarting DSD+. The behavior is intermittent, not able to reproduce it 100% of the time.

Quite the treasure trove that somebody submitted last night. 15 confirmed new Indiana sites and at least 9 new Indiana sites with confirmed locations by peers. Crazy people!

Thanks !

I tried programming my BCD325P2 for the Duke P25 system only to realize they are using TDMA control channel that won’t decode. I tried programming the frequencies as conventional but I’m curious if the current P2 capable scanners can decode TDMA if programmed as conventional instead of trunked. I can receive a strong signal from two sites CC so I will see if I hear any traffic programmed as conventional.

Any chance Uniden will upgrade their software to decode trunked TDMA P25 phase II control channels?

There are two Monroe Co IN sites in the Duke Energy P25 system presently. There are none listed (in the DB) in Monroe Co FL.

I do see that Monroe Co FL had been added as one of teh FL counties though. I've removed that.

Since late Mon to early Tues been watching the storm building up down south my area is in the cone if it goes on its path the eye might hit Gulf/Bay County line late Sun evening. If it does hit around me depending on damage I won't able to go on US 98 to check on new sites for a few counties when I leave on the 20th.

At 04:57:12 you have the "group record" saved.... wait on that site until the P25 System/Site record saved message appears in the Event window. On hard-to-copy sites it takes longer. Unpopular opinion: If your bandwidth is set pretty wide, adjust it down to 9khz, or just over whatever the width of the signal is, to help it decode the site better.

@west-pac and @batdude : Please consider capturing raw audio files (I think raw audio wav files via DSDplus "r" is good enough) and sending them to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com.

If there is an issue, it cannot be addressed if it cannot be reproduced. Speculating here isn't going to get anything done. Try and repeat what you are seeing, and when you do then press "R" when focused on DSDPlus so that it will start a raw audio recording. Record for as long as you can (perhaps at least 30 seconds), and then press "R" again to stop the raw audio recording. Then send the raw audio wav file to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com if it's not too big, or upload it somewhere and provide dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com the link.

Has anyone in FL get any TGs? The eye of the Tropical Storm Fred made landfall by Pt St Joe area about a hour from me.

The system is not live yet even though more than 75% of the sites are online ( in Florida anyway) with a control channel. If there are any talk group hits anywhere it's going to be very very random until next month.
