Not to hijack a thread, but just an FYI, since the recent FL update, some non-TDMA (i.e. FDMA) P25 control channels in my area (Sacramento, CA) are also doing this flipping back and forth of the NAC, clogging up the event window. Specifically on systems that have TDMA band plans. So this may just be an error in the software, not necessarily with the new TDMA control channel decoding function itself.
If I switch the program function from whatever mode it's currently in (let's say CC-only monitor), then switch it to another function (let's say CC/VC monitor), it sometimes fixes the problem.
Unrelated, but how can I hear the audio back after recording raw audio? Where in the files would it be?
If you were to press "R" (when focused on a DSDPlus window), it would start raw audio recording to a .wav file (in your DSDPlus folder). It would be called something like DSDPlus-Raw-Audio-*.wav with the * being a specific timestamp. You press "R" in DSDplus to start the recording, and then you press "R" again to gracefully stop the recording. 30-60 seconds of audio is probably good.
Then, if you wanted to play it back, you'd fire up a Command Prompt, navigate to your DSDPlus directory, and type something like:
DSDPLUS ? dsdplus-raw-audio-blahblahblah.wav
That will play back the previous recorded raw audio wav file by the same name.
Yep, a new version is out, but it's seemingly not quite perfect yet. It sometimes only decodes bad messages or says no sync, even with good signal strength.

I check the applications at least once a week, usually more.
Being that they have said this is going to be a slow growth over the next several years I imagine they won't start on the next region until Florida and Midwest are complete but you never know. I does seem like they are working rather quickly, at least quicker than I thought they would be.

v3.457 has been working well, from what I can see (using raw audio files that others had posted). In v.3457:
If a site CC is transmitting info on alternate CCs and peers (and pretty much all these sites are), all that info is now being decoded and saved to the DSDPlus.P25Data file. In v2.345 it was an either/or thing, whereby you would monitor a site CC and would either all of the control channels and no peers, or just the active control channel and all the peers. So definitely improved. Many of the raw audio recordings that were posted of TDMA CCs recently are bad recordings (and unfortunately I propagated those bad recordings by linking them on my website and in forums). For any raw audio .wav files that were of a reasonable signal with proper bandwidth, DSDPlus is now copying everything 100%.
However, on TDMA CC sites, at least the ones for which I've piped the raw audio through DSDPlus v.3457, you will not see the frequencies in the Channel Activity window. You will only see the channel numbers there. But, all of the information is being written to the DSDPlus.P25data file.
In summary, the latest DSDPlus will get all of the relevant information (WACN / SysID / Site ID / NAC / all CCs / all peers) and write it to the DSDPlus.P25data file, at least for any/every Duke site reported thus far.
Had a good band opening this morning .... did some real-time updates to the Florida Duke sites based on DSD+ 2.347 release.

Updated information for sites I have received so far in the greater Cincinnati area. I plan to visit all of the sites in Ohio, Kentucky and southeast Indiana this weekend. Something I have noticed is that they are reusing frequencies on sites that are in rather close proximity to each other. In several places around Cincinnati I can hear the control channel signals from more that one site on the same frequency at the same time and when this happens the DSD+ software (understandably) gets rather confused and I have to move to another area to get a clear decode.

I've updated a few sites. Sites with just peer updates wont' turn green. Sites that I added control channels to are green. And the one new site (Grants Lick) is green. I know you call it Alexandria Cooper MW, but does anybody in that area know who/why/what as far as why the site would be called Alexandria Cooper? Probably not. I'd be interested to know though. I googled the name and didn't come up with anything. So I left it off the site name.
