Good Morning, I will be in Pinellas County this winter and splitting time between Monmouth County NJ. Retired LE and EMS, and still monitoring what I can as the scanning world evolves.

I live in St Pete, where I monitor the Pinellas system over trunk-recorder and the LimeSDR I'd originally purchased as a paternity leave project to decode a video baby monitor. (I very quickly learned I was in over my head on that one.) When a few officers walked through our neighborhood, shining flashlights into our yard, I decided it was time to get in the loop, and setup trunk-recorder. Several years, hundreds of dollars, and countless hours later, I guess I fell into yet another hobby.

I'm a software developer by trade and disposition, and very curious about this universe we have here. And, coincidentally, grew up in NJ – though, Bergen county.

Also Pinellas County TRS Public Safety from Largo. At least, I used to until I stopped receiving for some unknown reason. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, most, if not all, of the P25 system will be unmonitorable.

The Public Safety channels are still able to be monitored at this current time. I understand that new towers have been set up in Burnell and other areas. The P25 system is very hard to pickup inside of buildings.

Palm Beach County P25 system is mostly Encrypted

Also Miami Dade Sheriffs Office P25 , City of Miami P25 and Miami Beach P25

Hello, Daniel here. Licensed ham (w3hog). I just picked up an sds-100, I live in Estero, Lee County. I'm aware that the PDs are encrypted, which sucks! As far as fire and ems, does anyone know what to listen for my local fire and ems here? I'm very close to Estero Fd medic 45 on Corkscrew road, but I don't know what engine #'s or anything else.
Any help is appreciated
