Hi what is the best software for the 436 HP for my area i-880 and sr 92 area home Qth

and what is a good non-oem antenna for the same radio

for mobile use and portable use

I can't offer any advice on the software as I haven't had a Uniden scanner in many years. I've been buying the Radio Shack scanners (currently using a PRO-668) made by GRE. However, I don't use the stock antenna that came with it. I use a Radio Shack 800MHZ antenna that I've had for years. It works very well and come highly recommended. Radio Shack still has them on their website although I don't know how easy they are to come by. Maybe E-Bay would be an option. I listen to the EBRCS system primarily monitoring SLPD, ALCO Fire and Sheriff Dept.

Sentinel is the software that comes with it, it's also probably the best.

will the factory software interface with the rr data base

will the factory on the 436 Hp portable software interface with the "radio reference web site"

to program frequencys in to the radio, and thank you all for the intel with the antenna
