TG56297 North Royalton FG 2

This morning around 9:00 I heard a series of radio checks on North Royalton's Fire Dispatch channel. Then a few minutes later I heard go to Fire Ground 2. Several radio checks took place on TG56297, the radio id's matched North Royalton's. The testing was from several locations one from a basement the other from an elevator.

That was all that I heard, I was heading out to run errands and I turned off the scanner. If anyone else can confirm the traffic on TG56297, let me know and I'll do a submit to the database.

TG56344 radio checks

I heard a couple of radio checks on TG56344, radio id's 1867xxx around 10:20 a.m. I see that my scanners show 20 plus hit on this TG.

TG56344 is with in the range of TG's that the SWRCN communities are using.

Parma Hts PD still on Parma P25

See. That's what I get for not paying attention. I knew PHPD was in the database.

Parma Hts PD is on the Parma P25 system.

I see there is an entry in the rr database for Parma Hts PD, but I'm wondering how it got there. The database entry for Parma Hts PD shows the TG as 56500. My scanner shows no activity (hits) for 56500.

If Parma Hts PD had moved to this system there would be no doubt. Parma Hts PD is very active, it would be tough to miss them.

I show one hit on 12/16/13 at 9:42 AM.

Maybe they just haven't moved there ....yet....
~~~
Also The Svc Dept and Senior Center TG have lots of hits so I would think the PD and FD are eventually moving there.
Parma Hts PD
Kind of my point. How does one hit since the 16th get submitted?
Maybe they just haven't moved there ....yet....
I agree, they haven't moved yet. I still hear them on Parma P25, as I said before they are very active. If they had moved, there would be a large number of hits for that time frame.
Also The Svc Dept and Senior Center TG have lots of hits so I would think the PD and FD are eventually moving there.
That makes sense to me also. But there are considerations to be taken into account.
1. Parma Hts. PD is on Parma P25, they most likely have a contract obligation.
2. It's not uncommon to see Service and other less critical departments move first. PD and Fire moves are generally done in a more conservative manner. After more extensive testing and training.
Please do not misread my curiosity regarding the Parma Hts. PD submission. I do not want to discourage anyone from posting or submitting. Just the opposite. I want to see the posts here and see the input from as many people as possible.
OK Bud. BTW I did not make that submission but had it marked and programmed in. I can't really do search mode with my scanner on that site because there are just too many on it and I'll just rely on what other people have found. Same thing with the Summit 800 system. Twinsburg is supposed to go on it and I hear traffic on one TG 33936 which could be them - portables only so far - but I can't really tell. The audio quality is so different from their 423 freq. :)
FWIW, I was able to locate a reference to the PHPD talkgroup several pages back in this thread.
I'm not hearing any dispatch calls/tones from 56344
What method does berea use to alert the squads?
Regarding Pama Hts., When the squads go out on calls a lot of times the Police desk takes over the Dispatch duties.
So my guess is that the Police will stay where they are but have access to the new system to be able to communicate with fire.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.
TG56344 Berea Fire Dispatch
Berea Fire Dispatch is active on TG56344, radio id's 1867xxx. Early this morning (12:40 a.m.) I monitored a Berea squad reporting to Berea Dispatch that they were "leaving the hospital and back in service". Berea Fire Dispatch acknowledged.
Within the last hour I have monitored fire squads dispatched and returning from calls.
I will do a submit to the database.
Sounds like the same case with Berea. Their main "Dispatch 500" and they also have PD elsewhere in there.
But I'm concerned how they get these calls in the first place. I haven't heard any alert tones from them
