I’m pretty sure the automated dispatch (tac 16) for HCFR is TDMA. I noticed it’s labeled FDMA in the database. Can anybody confirm this?

Yes it’s a Harris P25 system all CC’’s must be entered.

Now I'm seeing HCFR Tac 2 as FDMA. So maybe it changes depending on something. How and when this system decides when to use Phase I / II has always been a mystery.

Like with every other P25 system, if an older Phase I-only radio affiliates with what is normally a Phase II talkgroup, the entire talkgroup reverts to Phase I.

So it’s plausible that older radios (or newer radios without the Phase II feature string installed) are being used.

It’s only happening on Tac 2 from time to time, but you’re right. I noticed this on an older XTS, of course on my XL-200’s and APX8000’s it’s not a problem and I never would have known.

Any updates on the rest of the tacs for HCFR?

Tac 4 is 10548
Tac 6 is 10550
Tac 8 is 10552

There are confirmed.

Anybody know tac 9 and tac 10

I noticed tac 11 takes a big jump in numbers and they were using that yesterday during a working fire.

Tampa Fire Rescue has a unit called "Video 1". Anyone know what this is?
