where am I missing all the nationwide, i did all updates I only see the AIR freq nationwide ? No ATM etc

Well odd I update sent on a win 7 machine the nationwide new listing isnt there however on a win 2000 machine there it is all the new nationwide.
Very odd I guess for some reason Sent isnt updating data base on WIN 7 PC?

I am running latest sent though.

Sentinel should show a database date of 1/6/2012 at the bottom of the page.. Here's what the drill down looks like..Are you sure you updated the database?

mine shows 1 -8 well this is weird my win 7 pc shows update of 1-08

however my win 2000 pc shows 1-6 and both are 2.02 SENT very odd?
Odd how can two pc have updates done but one shows 1-06 other 1-08 and the -1-08 doesn not have nationwide updated datbase?
I am going to reinstall Sent on WIN 7 pc.

I'm checking something quick - I'm showing same results as you on another machine, new DB on old Sentinel - I'll update Sentinel real quick and see if I get same results..

I'm guessing that Paul's regular DB extract and update ran this morning but with an old filter .. The DB dated 1/8/2012 seems to be missing the Nationwide data...

The 1/8 update is for "legacy" versions (prior to 2.02). It is not compatible with 2.02, so the latest version of Sentinel will not use it.

2.01: Latest db 1/8/2012 (no nationwide)
2.02: Latest db 1/6/2012 (includes nationwide).

So, if you are seeing a 1/8 db build in your Sentinel...you need to upgrade.

I - just this minute - updated the database on Sentinel, it now reads "Database Version: 1/06/2012 and the "Nationwide" data is all there.

Nevermind, I see Paul already had the answer as I was typing my reply!

I guess this is what you were talking about when you said the older version of the database for pre Sentinel 2.02 users would be dropped after a couple of weeks! I guess it is a pain to have two databases available!

And the reason I got the results I did was I did a DB update before I updated that copy of Sentinel.. Once I updated Sentinel, it had the 1/8/2012 version and said it had the latest version (1/8/2012). I had to manually remove the DB and let Sentinel reconstruct it and then update it to get to the correct (for latest Sentinel) 1/6/2012 version. I did this out of sequence to look into the problem reported - on Saturday, I updated the laptop per instructions with NO issues at all and had planned on doing the desktop the same way today..

Make sure you're on the new version of Sentinel (2.02 Rev 4)
At the bottom of the screen is the date of the DB - check what it shows. Should show 1/6/2012. If you show 1/8/2012, see UPMan's explanation below (and how I got the wrong version - kind of on purpose)..

Font Size Question

I have my FONT setting at 12 but it does not make the second line on the top line info (Favorites List Title) any larger. When I lowered it to 8 all the other lines are smaller but the Favorites List line stays small when I increase to 12. Looks like a fault in the update.

You can use Sentinel...just browse to the system you want and right click and choose append to favorites. Each county seems to have the nationwide systems under it, rather than one top level list under either USA or Canada.

Write your new favorites to your HP1.

Then you can select just it by going to main menu then manage favorites lists on the HP1.

Thanks to the new updates I've been messing around with LTR Analyzer / LCN Finder. I've gotten great results so far on three different systems that haven't been monitored or listed before and they been around for years. I've gotten good freqs and TG so far on all three. I always enjoy finding new discoveries.

Sorry, had to step away for a couple of hours.

I still don't have the upgraded version of Sentinel, and I seem to be chasing my tail to get it

I tried going to the HomePatrol Sentinel page and the only thing it offers for download is the version that I downloaded, 2.01. That was the last update I did on the radio.

I tried the link that Paul added earlier in the thread, "If you are still having trouble, try: http://108.194.102.129/Sentinel/Home...el_2_02_04.zip" and that didn't work either.

I can't seem to find 2.02.

Somehow I am missing it, but just can't figure out where.
