Not on any screen I've seen yet. Haven't viewed any logs yet, but having to be lashed to a computer to do that you might as well be running T88, Pro96Com or UT anyway so.....

TxWARN is P25 TDMA enabled (not X2 TDMA). Not sure if that's a problem here.

If its listed as Phase II its a problem. Sentinel will not import the system. You could create a system as P25 and paste the TGID's I suppose.

I've noticed on page 32 of the V 2.02 Extreme manual that it says to enter the i0 "Wildcard" to receive Private Calls now between units. On the version before this, we only had to have "ID Search" turned on.

So does this mean I need to enter i0 as a TGID now? Or will ID Search still enable me to receive Private Calls? (Motorola Type II System)

The reason I ask is because I use Discovery Mode a lot and won't necessarily know whether this is set right or not in order to receive those.

No apparent changes in the log viewer either. Most useful human readable fields still remain totally blank.

From the HomePatrol-1 Extreme Upgrade information page..

USB Audio and Data Out — Want to set up your HomePatrol-1 to stream live audio to the web...without creating a rat's nest of wires? The Extreme Upgrade lets you do just that, sending both audio and the channel data out through the USB port to your computer. (Third-party software required for streaming applications.)

Other than the Virtual Control feature in Butel's ArcPatrol (which needs updating now), is anyone aware of any software outside of the engineering samples that Uniden supplied that actually use either the Serial or USB data out features ? As an example, I'd really like to see DSD (especially the Windows version of DSD) adapted to use the baseband audio data that's there. When the Extreme version was announced, these outputs generated a lot of interest, but evidently not from any developers..

I did the post update release. I now notice under unit id mode 1 or 2. Before I had on and off. I tried either one with a 3600 or 9600 trunk and it will not display id's . It did before I did the update though.

You have off, 1, 2 to be exact. It somewhat alternates with whatever else may be displayed on the second (1) or 3rd (2) lines of the channel display. Keep in mind RIDs aren't always captured, especially on transmissions that are already in progress when the scanner stops on it.

It should just altogether replace the service tag area on the 3rd line since you've got a icon telling you that already. Or even better have the choice of service tag display to be text or icon in the icon area. Maybe not enough room for that though

Here is a shot of the new VIPER P25 Test system with my HomePatrol providing the
data and Rick's awesome Unitrunker Program providing a look at the system.
As you call tell the system has little radio traffic but that will change in time.

That documentation is for a preview of release 24. It is not officially out yet. If you're willing to bravely test new features - sign up on the program's Google Groups mailing list for details. I hope to have an official, public release soon.

Rick- that undoubtedly difficult, wonderful piece of code interfacing the HP1 baseband audio to Unitrunker- no doubt could work for DSD also??? (gotta work up a bribe here, guys)....

Okay ... Uniden changed some functionality so the Raw Data Output feature isn't as useful with latest firmware.

After the program places the radio into Raw Output mode ...

Before, I could press "Back" on the Raw Output screen and the radio would stay in raw output mode.

Before, I could select the Trunked System Analyzer and choose a pre-programmed site to monitor.

After the firmware update, the only thing that works is to manually enter the active control channel frequency.

Seriously, this is like a firmware downgrade as far as raw output mode is concerned.

Have you considered using negative delay?

Negative delay is a useful feature for sure, but being able to tap a button and move on to the next active channel is something I'm having a hard time getting accustomed to not having.

where am I missing all the nationwide, i did all updates I only see the AIR freq nationwide ? No ATM etc

Well odd I update sent on a win 7 machine the nationwide new listing isnt there however on a win 2000 machine there it is all the new nationwide.
Very odd I guess for some reason Sent isnt updating data base on WIN 7 PC?

I am running latest sent though.

Done! Smooth! Look at all those Nationwides!

Edit: Will the "engineering examples" be updated to demo the new remote features?
