So if all info is being "undisclosed" about Verdugo and thier channels, how can we listen to them even on a scanner?

Just keep watching this thread. As the system is rolled out the known (found) tgs will be posted I am sure :) Also make sure you keep checking the ICIS database on here.

My question, Will there be a conv freq left for tone alerts etc like some cities have done? I would rather most of the time have it on "tone out" so I only hear the major stuff. Can anyone say if that will happen?

We're still working out signaling issues, but will probably do away with the legacy two-tone paging. :(

Right now as far as I know only the admins know for sure (unless its still being worked out of course) but if you look up a few posts there is my guess for some of them. I have them in the radio and heard a little here and there but so far not Verdugo.

I am starting to use status bits to try to filter some of the traffic. Just learning them so far from knowing what I am doing yet. This may be a way to get only the dispatches if Verdugo uses Multi Select when dispatching. I may be dreaming but whats new :)

Converting 11 agencies to trunking takes a LOT of work. Just too much to do in so little time. We're all breathing easier now, as we'll have time to thoroughly test before the cutover.

The old Culver City TRS at http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=727 must be gone now.

Hearing two frqs. listed there, 482.0625 and 482.4625 (at least once, will continue verifying), being used at the new Culver City ICIS Site 007. ICIS at http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=2856 does have 482.0625 listed, but 482.4625 is not listed yet.

That leaves just one frq. at the old Culver City site that is not yet in use at the Culver City ICIS, 482.3625. It is in use by Site 002 and Site 005 of ICIS though.

ICIS Site 8

I see a new number on the unitrunker, and LCN of 386.

Now, can our detectives find a new control channel in LA County?

Perhaps someone in the Antelope Valley can search 470-471 mhz and 482-483 mhz and see if they pick up a control channel?

Maybe Steve can answer...I believe that something was going up on Hauser for fill in?

Could be in testing for burn in and optimization.

You are right about Red 1 at least, units are already mistakenly using it.

>>>Of course I could be wrong but with a little math and guesses. I am going to guess the Verdugo lineup will be: Drumroll ........

Heard a RA unit (I think 23 but don't quote me) put themselves out of service today for "radio reprogramming". Sounds like Verdugo is making the steady march to ICIS

We put it into service on September 27th. You should be able to hear our control channel all over the AV.

I recognize Comm 207, but we don't have a Comm 3. I wish we had ten more techs right now, but we're getting there. It still looks good for a November cutover.
