139.46250 is (local) Louisville area, NAC 061 clear and encrypted. Caught the radio shop testing there as well.
They were also testing Fed Gov Vtac channels, though I did not catch the traffic.

Could you tell if they were on any other freqs?

No I could not, but I was in a bad location in Indiana and scanned for others and even inputs, but revived too much computer noise and stuff.

That's how I know the location, I was only receiving "local" signals

Here is the updated sheet... This is basically a new sheet reflecting a number of submissions. Colors indicate linked or possibly linked freqs (keeping in mind this appears to be a multi-cast system with an unknown number of freqs in each EM Area)... NACs appear to differentiate EM Areas... Use of VTAC freqs is confirmed but, at this point, no one has been close enough to actually monitor... Still need to identify NACs from the Eastern and Western portions of Kentucky and firm up the list of linked freqs and how they play into the entire system.... At this point there are a number of freqs that appear to be Primary, but none really fall into a Secondary role.... There does appear to be a distinct set of freqs for KYEM and KYNG, but that hasn't been completely confirmed as yet.... [14]

CAP is searching for an aircraft in East Kentucky.... CAP used 139.6125 131N to advise of the mission.... Areas 9, 10 and 13 are linked... Have heard CAP Base out of Lexington and FFT on this freq so far...

Numerous changes in this updated spread sheet (dtd: 05312009)... Added the VTAC freqs so they will be easier to locate and can be loaded into the same file as the KYEM/KYNG System.... Have regrouped the freqs into what might be a more accurate representation of their uses....Have added a "Local Callsign" column to help refine the identity of each freq and figure out how it falls into the system (The "Assignment" column is related but indicates what might be programmed into the radio or what is apparent via transmissions).... Still need to identify the Primary and Secondary freqs, although, possibly, the current arrangement might be close.... It appears that there are separate sub-systems for KYEM and KYNG with the two inter-linked as needed... Still need more reports from East and West Kentucky to firm the details....[7]

Folks, I think there is enough info to commit this system to the data base... For those of you who submitted information, many thanx, but keep the info flowing! I will assemble one last spread sheet in the next day or so and post it here so that will be available with the latest info (it makes a really neat note taker)... If there is any info that needs to be included, use the submission engine or email if you need privacy.... Again, thanx!

KYEM/KYNG back in the KY Data Base....

The data base has been updated with the information found in the latest version of the spread sheet (dtd: 060320)... A number of changes to reflect the current theory... most obvious is that all the freqs appear to be linked in a multi-cast configuration (those are the .X125 and .X625 freqs). It appears that the two sets can be broken down into Primary and Secondary, but need more monitoring to confirm this... The National Guard subset has been monitored during Derby and the most recent Ice Storm and appear to be independent of the first ten freqs (various National Guard transmissions have been monitored on the .X125 and .X625 freqs). There has been only one report of Aviation on 226.200 since the current confirmation project began, but numerous reports prior to this effort confirm that freq... The VTAC freqs are included because they are apparently programmed into the KYEM/KYNG radios. There is no confirmation on use of 156.7 PL per the KSP Mutual Aid MOU; however, given the interference reported by some mobile KYEM units recently on VTAC 3 requiring a switch to VTAC 4, it seems they are talking CSQ (I have monitored the same interference on VTAC 3 as well, but will withhold my theory)... Some freqs have been deleted because they appear to be intermod as reported by a couple of rr.com monitors, 139.860 is most likely 139.8625, for example (if this assumption is incorrect they will be restored on a case-by-case basis). Updates will appear in the data base and there will be updated spread sheets as needed since some of the info can't be placed in the data base in a way that makes sense yet[16]....

Two updates

139.4625 heard traffic today NAC061, unit was going to Trimble and Henry Counties, adn would be In Oldham County later.

139.0625 Traffic to FTK Flight Ops NAC111, believe this is Flight Ops always, and 4 & 11 were patched? Channels? Regions? Never did hear anything else.

And add 140.9375 as a possible additional channel, P25 Audio
