Here is an updated list (DTD: 06172009) with some additions.... trashman43 programmed what he calls "Theory Freqs" into his scanner and hit pay dirt this afternoon, monitoring 139.8125 N041, Those freqs are 139.0125 thru 139.9925 and 139.0625 thru 139.9625.... leave the NAC in search if you want to monitor more than just your area. We really need to figure out which freqs go with which towers to get a better handle on this system... This is a multi-cast system so we also need to figure out the inputs to eliminate them from spread sheet mix.... As always, your help is always appreciated. [13]

Here is the updated workbook (DTD: 06182009) with some changes. Removed the "Communications To" boxes since they are not pertinent now (most freqs appear to be used for the various types of communications)... Have added a NAC041 column... Have IDed two freqs that are consistently used as indicated: 139.6125 is Area 13 and 139.6625 is Area 6...
CORRECTION:
Yesterday I listed trashman's theory freqs incorrectly.... the correct order is 139.0125 thru 139.0925 and 139.0625 thru 139.9625.... Sorry for the bad info...
I have zipped the original SS since there were a couple of problems printing the .pdf....[17]

One thing that unitcharlie and I noticed a few weeks ago was that alot of the frequencies in use by this system ended in .X125 and .X625. So I programmed in all the possibilities, which are:
139.0125,139.1125,139.2125,139.3125,139.4125,139.5125,139.6125,139.7125,139.8125,139.9125
139.0625,139.1625,139.2625,139.3625,139.4625,139.5625,139.6625,139.7625,139.8625,139.9625
It took a few days, but I got a hit on 139.8125 NAC 041, which should be for "Area 4". This was a frequency that we did not have before.

There was a CAP Mission this afternoon.... Areas 3, 6 and 13 were linked, from the front porch, with three scanners and a Ham HT going heard activity on 139.4625/N131, 139.5125/N131, 139.6125/N131, 139.2125/N061 & 139.6625/N061.... The aircraft I was following was listening for pings from an Emergency Locater Transmitter, apparently aircraft at various altitudes had reported hearing the thing.... The CAP Flight didn't hear anything while flying the orbits prescribed about 25 SW of the Lexington VOR at 7500 feet and 10,000 feet... Did anyone grab anything from Area 3? There is no new info on the spread sheet this time, just modified it for easier note taking in the field.[4]

CAP FLT 1522 is airborne over Area 1... heard them trying to raise CAP Mission HQ on 139.6125, they were talking on the Murray Repeater (42-Mayfield or 41 Murray State?).... apparently Areas 1 and 13 are linked right now.... don't know what the mission is....

Cool.... During the mission on Saturday Areas 13 and 1 were linked... could this be an input (at 2500 feet an aircraft transmission will cover a fairly large area)? That helps a lot...

Looks like Kentucky CAP has a Search and Rescue Exercise this weekend... don't know the particulars, but might be a good chance to snag some new numbers... updated spreadsheet on the way by noon tomorrow....
