Yes. @Jpm. I hear a LOT of in the open stuff on certain talkgroups and I just laugh. Never would tell what it is. It's almost like they don't know how to use their radios or someone told them don't worry, it's digital and it's secure. No, it's surveillance and more in the open complete with Helio support. Meanwhile.... we're told it's best that we can't hear the common traffic stop down the street OR the violent domestic 2 doors down who we should be wary of. A violent neighbor is none of our business according to them. Gooberment wants our $$$ to play with and then gives us the finger. That can be changed by voting the a-holes out. I blame them more than the feeds because this encryption stuff started before any feeds were ever put online. I don't expect common sense from our gooberment. They can't protect us, only can draw a chalk outline and hold laughable press conferences trying to explain why they're not to blame.
