I was getting very little signal from Hineston at the time of my last post. I was able to move upstairs, get a much better signal from Hineston, and pick up a lot more of the traffic I was expecting that - at least at that time - didn't seem to be coming through the Alexandria tower. Between that change and correcting the LWIN frequencies, I'm hearing a lot more. Thanks again, all, for the helpful comments.

I have a new talk group. It is 9006. It appears to be some type of aircraft. They were talking about a fire and Walnut was mentioned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a radio in Baton Rouge over the past week or so. TGID 5193 was active with "LA-1" and "LA-3" doing an escort; they were calling this channel "EX-9".

Truthfully, my point of posting was that they very clearly called this "EX-9" or "X-9", not "1". Maybe a patch, maybe a rename, maybe...???

The new LWIN tower is online on Pride Port Hudson rd. in Zachary. Does anyone know the Control Channel freq for it?
