you would think if there was still a UFO, potentially a threat the TFR would still be up regardless of when they think they're going to remove it.

Maybe it was debris floating around? A big kite?
They want eyes on it to track the debris field. Harder to do so in low light.

Shouldn't be, that's what the FLIR targeting pods are for. That's what an F-15 also using the callsign ROCK41 used to video the first balloon.

Just looked at this, "Issue Date" set to Feb 12 at 0020UTC, meaning it's not currently active. Does seem like aircraft are still adhering to it for the time being until DoD wakes up early. ZLC Sector 15 quiet but seemingly operating relatively normally, no mention of the TFR yet.

@0125L Interesting that 2 Chinese cargo a\c are flying NNW over the Yukon where an unid object was shot down earlier. Looks like they departed from Ohare.
