In the DC Metro area, 143.825 is used in FM mode and is a good frequency to monitor.Don't forget the old standbys for HMX-1

If previous years are any indication, a lot of these resources (both from Manassas and Selfridge) should be repositioned to FRG shortly to support the NSSE for UNGA.
Right on cue. Tank67 can you confirm they’re going to FRG?09-14-23

I'm about to head out for Virginia Beach and Oceana to photograph the practice show tomorrow (the 5000 fifth-grade students of the Virginia Beach school system will be on hand as part of a promotion of STEM initiatives ) and Saturday's public show. Fortunately, the weather looks good! I've never been to Oceana or Virginia Beach so I'm looking forward to it...1210 hrs - Blue Angels active on 275.35 doing recon over Virginia Beach in preparation for this weekend's air show at NAS Oceana.
I have the BCD436, can't you program143.825 in the FM mode and enter it??? Even if you have it in AM mode; you should be able to hear them although a bit distorted. I have the frequency programmed twice side by side in FM/AM mode so when I hear them I can just stop and switch to hear either one.In the DC Metro area, 143.825 is used in FM mode and is a good frequency to monitor.
Unfortunately, my BCD536HP can't detect modulation so I have to lockout 143.825 (AM).

I haven't seen any movement, yet... Forecast is for 30-40 mph sustained winds (gusts to 50-60) along the cape worst caseHas anyone noticed if they've evacuated aircraft from the northeast due to the hurricane?
(Pease AFB, Cape Cod etc,,,)
Thanks
Joel
I'll be annoyed mildly (which means nothing) if we bust any F-15s or KC-46's and didn't move them in time. I guess we'll find out this weekend.I haven't seen any movement, yet... Forecast is for 30-40 mph sustained winds (gusts to 50-60) along the cape worst case
