Had a departure call for "ZIPPO Ops" from Harrisburg of ZIPPO-72 said we departed 2152 on their normal base ops 395.100.
A name change from the old Baton Ops for the 193 SOW?

NOAA-46 N46RF sure has been busy in this area recently. Seems based for now in Gaithersburg MD (KGAI)
Seems they are doing local airport area familiarization flights this Month judging by recent flights.

NOAA has a new King Air aircraft recently added.. N65RF

1745 local Pilot goof on 121.500.. Funny response from male pilot imitating a bad ladies voice.
"We will have that car out front for you but you are on Guard".. LOL.. Was real funny!
You mess up on the Guard channel you pay the price.
Now that is an anonymous recording that you can post! :)

It sounded like the fake woman said you're on guard, but I loved the other pilots. Great job finding and doing the edit @AirScan

NOT MIL-AIR BUT...

Massive flyover above the Washington DC restricted airspace on Saturday (tomorrow). The May 11 flyover will begin at Frederick Municipal Airport (FDK), home of AOPA. The takeoff sequence of aircraft begins at 11:30 a.m. from Frederick; the flyover in D.C. is from noon until 1 p.m. The event will be livestreamed from 11:45AM EDT on AOPA’s YouTube channel (@flywithaopa)

I suppose this is the route. ADS-B Exchange - track aircraft live

Looks like Great Falls Park would be a good place to observe from.

Thanks for flare reminder though.. I forgot and checking news and web cam even in Sweden so far tonight looks
like a bust so far for lights.
Media always keeps posting these solar flare Northern lights alerts may be seen as far South as Alabama
and yet always a bust! So far HF and my local UHF/VHF Ham coms seem unaffected..
See what happens Saturday..
