Seems that C-17 into Haiti I saw the other day is just a start.. News says has been 7 flights so far most from Charleston.
See two more today..
RCH-410 #99-0058 MC410 (RCH410) Air Mobility Command Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware
RCH-255 #00-0175.

What a mess down there.. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/05/04/us-military-assistance-haiti-violence-00156150
Very likely there is an HF or satcom channel in use for inbound flights. I am willing to bet they have CCTs on the ground helping coordinate.

Boeing E-6B Mercury (163920) as PEPO43 working the pattern at KACY on 5/8/24. This was at the tail end of an eight hour sortie for this crew before they returned to NAS Pax River. First E-6 I've been able to catch.

Sorry... Should have spelled it out. Tactical Airlift Control Elements are frequently some of the first into a situation and it seemed to be just them in a little shelter. When I was around them, it seemed their main job (what I saw of it) was to let HHQ know with 15 seconds (or something) ,of when an air-lifter departed or arrived. They would also set up (sometimes) a tent and some chairs for people coming and going (like 10 to 20 chairs, no floor, more like an overhang).

That was the end of my involvement with them. At the time I was impressed because they would bring a little network device (about 4" x 1" x 1" ) to network their computers together, and they were VERY focused on doing their job.

Kind of a bare bones operation sometimes.
Kind of looked like this photo, but Tan.

Thanks
Joel

Reach-850 C-17 #03-3119 inbound Andrews from Ramstein 1705 local Med-Evac.
We have 43 patients/pax 11 AE crew, req customs and 50k fuel.. They had to circle a bit due to
ramp freeze from AF-1 who was just getting ready to depart..

SCORE-12 checking in with GK 249.800 heading offshore E-2D #166502 then over to
VX-20 Ops discrete 313.700 and also A/A 375.600 with SCORE-92 #167929

1745 local Pilot goof on 121.500.. Funny response from male pilot imitating a bad ladies voice.
"We will have that car out front for you but you are on Guard".. LOL.. Was real funny!
You mess up on the Guard channel you pay the price.
Now that is an anonymous recording that you can post! :)
