Seems all the Pax CMB flights are landing at KAFW Fort Worth Tx... another inbound also from Ramstein CMB343 N207AX.
Lets start a good rumor.. Lockheed and Pentagon and overseas contractors and Netherlands etc have decided on crash course of fixes
in a refresh block 3 for for temp usage and F-35 deliveries till complete block 4 upgrade maybe not ready now for 12-18 months.
Bringing in some of the F-35 crews and engineers and some pilots for training to make deliveries and usage quicker.
Lets go ahead and get them working as is and get them out of the factory barn down there :)

F-35 program could reshuffle long-term upgrade plan, deliver TR-3 jets early without full capability - Breaking Defense

Or they are just picking up a bunch of troops for deployment... LOL

Lets start a good rumor..
In addition to CMB 494 and CMB 302 there was also CMB 308, all operated by Omni Air International, all 3 departed Andrews on April 29th, and all 3 returned today May 11th.

CMB 494 B763 N36NE
KAFW Fort Worth Alliance
KADW Andrews AFB
MROC San Jose, Costa Rica
SBBR Brasilia, Brasil
SBAR Asuncion, Paraguay
CYOW Ottawa, Canada
KADW Andrews AFB
KAFW Fort Worth Alliance

CMB 308 B762 N234AX
KIAD Washington Dulles
KADW Andrews AFB
PHNL Honolulu, Hawaii
YSCB Canberra, Australia
VTBD Bangkok, Thailand
VIDP Delhi, India
LBSF Sofia, Bulgaria
KADW Andrews AFB
KIAD Washington Dulles

CMB 302 B763 N468AX
KADW Andrews AFB
ENGM Oslo, Norway
EVRA Riga, Latvia
LUKK Chisinau, Moldova
LROP Bucharest, Romania
LUKK Chisinau, Moldova
EDDS Stuttgart, Germany
KADW Andrews AFB
KAFW Fort Worth Alliance

So what's the link between all these destinations ? The Fort Worth and Dulles legs might have just been for positioning ?

US Coast Guard continuing to replace the MH-65 type choppers with Sikorsky MH-60T models.
Forgot not long ago in early 2000's the USCG upgraded the (1985) Dolphin HH-65 types to MH-65 models.
Remember in James Bond "License to Kill" 1989 movie USCG Key West showing off the HH-65 :)

I've been looking but haven't found anything positive. When the 43rd FS came up to Langley from Tyndall did they stay as the 43rd FS as a separate unit or did they become the 71st FS since the "old" 71st morphed into the 7th FTS. Anyone have any info on that?

Yes the 43rd is no more they transitioned to the 71st as soon as they went operational at LFI.

DOC is not a valid code for the operator of the B29 but I guess they just threw that callsign in there anyway
Guess old Doc inbound for Dover airshow early but seems in between it does some money
making flights. Prob takes a lot of money to keep it flying..
Interesting history and where it got its name.... Doc (aircraft) - Wikipedia

Terry heard some NOBLE CAP guys doing tour of lower Delaware Bay this morning A/A 284.100
The lighthouse Harbor of Refuge way out in the Del Bay off Lewes (Wow! its on a little island out there!) got their attention and checking out
some ship carrying cars aka the Cape May-Lewis Ferry.. Guess being from Colorado area this is new sights for them :)

If I may, started to edit a few of my photos from the Cherry Point Airshow and have posted them in the Airshow thread for Cherry Point. It was a great weekend and wish I had the money to go to Dover and/or Oceania.

Couple of interesting items Blue Angles 1 had issues at startup and was replaced with #7, #4 was having radio issues on one channel and the changed to a different one, and the F35B Demo used the jets from Cherry Point not there own, though it was the Demo Team pilot. Finally, got to meet Razz Larson, pilot for the F22 Demo Team, he is a really nice guy and invited some of the Maryland spotters out to the tarmac to see the F22s.
