AlertDC says:

MPD reports there will be an Italian Air Force flyover in the NCR, over Washington, DC, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 4:30 PM. The units will deploy red, white, and green smoke during its flight route.

Now to figure out the flight route and decide if I was to go get a look.

The flyover route will begin on the east side of the city with a single east to west pass just south of the National Mall.

Does it appear that they'll be flying out of ORF tomorrow morning?
They had to land there and I’m assuming they’ll be staying there for tomorrow too. Also here are a few photos I took from today! Had to take screen shots of them since the files are a bit big. Rhino practice was amazing.

I saw that last week and was wondering about that.. Seems too contrived to be computer generated..
Didn't know they changed it though.. Thought it was just Navy humor.

BOE-14 Dover C-17 on depot delivery back to Dover #01-0191 crew of 3 with light bags.

GAF-699 A-400 working the test track offshore on 268.850. Heard him just say .. breakaway, breakaway to receiver.
Must be two Navy aircraft up as some A/A between F/18 and someone else besides GAF-699..maybe chase plane.
One ship commented from a F/18 perspective ..One ship sounds like #296 and 581.
DHS aircraft up on 136.725 calling "Madman" and how far out are you?. Can't hear the other station.
@Mark there were two, three letter alphabet operated aircraft circling KILG at 3500-7500 all day today. N461AJ (Kona 231) that went back to KNEL from ILG after getting gas and N191MB took its place. All were untraceable.
