1250- Rumble 1 flt (F-22s Langley) working Giantkiller (238.1/238.9) to rejoin w/Surge 33 & 34.

1255- Scotch1 (T-38 7th FTS Langley) clearing out of W376 (238.1) & RTB Langley.
Sure seems over the last year or so Langley F-22's and McGuire KC-46's spend a lot of time
working together.. Maybe part of future ACE or Lead wing deployments the USAF says it is working on.
Now that McGuire has all their tankers and Langley has squads of F-22's maybe they will do a large scale deployment
exercise. Would be fun to see 10-12 McGuire KC-46's and 20+ F-22's deploy at once then scatter overseas.
USAF keeps talking the talk. Time to make it walk :)

NOT Mid-Atlantic, but live at O'hara starting with arrival of the V92's thanks @PenguinSix for sharing the link

Without fanfare, at 2:55pm CDT we see the first operational flight of the V92 as Marine 1

Wow.. nice vid.. after choppers departed sure was a huge conga line of civ jets trying to depart.
Short ramp freeze at Chicago created quite a backup.

1540- PAX P-8 # 167951 working w/Echo Control (268.85) in the Test Track. Looks like he's working some AR training at FL190 w/German AF A-400 (GAF 699) which departed from PAX earlier. Heard " nose cold, switches safe" report.
What can a P-8A do with a GAF A-400 type aircraft? Circling the test track the GAF-400 is at FL-250 and P-8A at FL-190.
Ok see the German A-400 can also be used as a tanker.. Never knew that.
The P-8A seems to be acting as spotter and someone else is on the A-400 boom. Talking about wake turbulence as well.
Must be doing boom/hose checks with Navy type fighter I assume. Heard 531 going to the boom.

531 should be a VX-23 Growler.

Some spotters in Chicago are suggesting today could be the first POTUS VH-92 flight.
AP story says com problems fixed on choppers but still not clear about frying the WH lawn.
Maybe one reason they chose Chicago runway for first actual M-1 flight.
They could just use new chopper during winter time perhaps on the WH lawn.
Maybe they will add super strong sprinkler system at WH lawn pad like NASA does with rockets?
Nah probably would blow water around all over the folks gathered.
