Sorry Terry they don't do Bay searches.. The upper Delaware river area at times but Lower Bay and ocean is CG territory.
Just had hit on CG 345.000 then nothing further.
That KING-73 and USMC Chopper still working together in the dark now. gets trickier I imagine now.
Maybe we will see write up on them someday soon. Must be bit nerve wracking for that HC-130J flying low at 1k feet
and barely above stall speed.. One mistake and in the drink they go.

2039 RAVEN-45 MD ANG UH-60 #91-26332 coming NE thru KILG class D enroute Philly area on 126.000.
Seems everyone wants to or has to fly tonight :)
It's the end of the month and going into a holiday, they need the flight hours to stay on target.
:)
Thanks
Joel

0915- Noble 21 flt on way up to CAP. Working ZDC Cape Charles (293.225). Checks in w/Huntress (260.9) and Teflon 51 (247.5)

Okay understand - will try to listen to Dover radar archive and see what they were tasked to do. A few minutes later they were cancelled from the search (as monitored on 132.425).

Basically they were instructed to search from north of Lewes to Broadkill (they were awaiting clearance into the inner ring of the TFR), they were then cancelled from the search. LiveATC 0000-0030 for 8/29/2024 timestamp
KDOV2-Gnd-App-Aug-29-2024-0000Z.

My guess was a Delaware Bay beach search

Terry
I believe this was for the water rescue in Lewes’ fire district, unrelated to USCG’s event

1406- DOG or maybe it was DARK 41, ZBW 323.00 leaving Viper and cleared RTB to unknown dest. via SYR then as filed at FL240, to ZOB 346.250. Not sure the type ? DARK is a Dyess B-1 callsign but it didnt really sound like a heavy bomber.
