1234L- APACHE 1 (sounded like) on ZNY 269.0 request low level flight up the Hudson River. Nothing showing on ADSB.
1236L- Now seeing a TIS-B off Sandy Hook heading north towards Hudson River. Speed at 200 kts.
1304L- Keep missing ID. Now a female on ZNY 353.75 coming back south over central NJ.
Checking my tape after work 1216 local had callsign DOG-351 two pilots on radio at 11k feet ZDC UHF.
Female read back VVALRE and male pilot came on 2 minutes later said they wanted to do Hudson River run
up to West Point and back.. Assume Navy-Army game show off flight.. Navy uses Dog at times.. That Victor Victor sure sounds Navy.

I had RIVER-11 1400 local self ID as flight of two F-5's into KILG from Philly apch 269.150 will be inbound for the Carrier brake.
Nice catch guys.. Rare visit here by F-5's.

Had 2 armed MQ-9X-ER's today flying in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. VALKYRIE 14 and VEGAS 20, VALKYRIE's fly out of Al-Dhafra AB, UAE, and are assigned to the 62nd EATKS, sortie durations often last over 20+ hours with multiple MCE changeovers while working their tasks over the combat zones. VEGAS' belong to the 46th EATKS or 361st EATKS out of Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait.

At the beginning you will hear VALKYRIE 14, later @13:51 VEGAS 20.

This morning a heavily armed B-52 Stratofortress, out of Al Udeid AB, with the callsign GRIMM 21 crossed the Kuwait FIR, supporting the same mission, just like the MQ-9's.

comms start @10:33.

In the past FIST6X (KC-10s) have staged out of KSKA to bring Whidbey EA-18G’s out west. This is only an educated guess, but seems to be similar mission.
Via ADSB playback, there are atleast 2x TIS-B targets which departed Whidbey and climbed to the south as FIST flt was passing through. ~19:38Z
You were right, five VAQ-131 Growlers departed this evening from Honolulu to Andersen AFB.
They were DORY 11 and DORY 21 flight on ALTRV Coronet West 411.

Hearing typical MQ-9C drone beacon on 225.100. Nothing showing on ADSB.

Maybe Navy using to snoop for drones? Was real strong but fading now.
Notice recently more of the local Reaper flights are no longer showing on ADSB.

RIVER-11 flew right up thru the middle of Delaware today. At least they always seem to show on flightaware.
Speed graph seems exaggerated as landing KILG at 200 mph with top speed on way up at 720 mph?

Yeah the Academy pregame football antics are on already.
Both Academies know the schedules of the other so always do flybys at each other at the
lunch hour around 1PM as students move between classes, buildings etc. :)
I still remember pre Navy USAF game one time Martin State A-10's did Naval Academy flyover at lunch time. LOL

What waveform are they using on 225.100. AM? FM? Other?

SCORE90 Hex: AE5C73 was up today and didn't land until just past 19:00 local if I'm reading it correctly. It was showing on the adsbexchange. I heard the beacon sometime early in the day and locked it out because it isn't very interesting to listen to. In fact I'm picking up what sounds like a similar data stream to the 225.1 beacon on 302.7, oh well, DMI posted while I was composing my post...

I just have it in as AM because I use it just to tell when one of the pax drones might be up and I am usually listening to aircraft, but pretty sure it's FM, I don't remember what bandwidth sounded best, maybe someone with an SDR could tell you more.

Question what is the difference between R#### and G#### with the Army Helicopter callsigns is R for Regular Army and G for state Guard? I can't find much published about Helo callsigns?

Military flight designators

G - Air or Army National Guard
R - U.S. Army
VM - U.S. Marine Corps
VV - U.S. Navy
