New Jersey added 9 more drone security low level TFR's today mostly at Port's and refinerys.
They seem worried in NJ. :)
Meanwhile, a few days ago the 111th Attack Wing posted a video from earlier this year of members from the 174th Attack Wing, Syracuse, New York, prepared for flight during Exercise Iron Keystone at Fort Drum, New York, June 10, 2024. Iron Keystone is an integrated large-scale exercise involving the Pennsylvania Air National Guard (PAANG) intended to increase tactical proficiency, develop a baseline knowledge in dissimilar operations, and combine capabilities and resources across three major commands to maximize operational success on the modern battlefield.

Are they trying to tell us something?

Watching the replay on a flight tracking site --- yeah that was a bit to close to the active runway.
Seems Terry not too surprising the FAA saw this vid and probably also tower report is investigating..
Even video guys at Tube channel were surprised Tower didn't give them a phone number to call.
Maybe when they later switched to ground they told them.. Almost lost a basketball team.
You hear the pilot readback to tower saying will hold short of runway 24L.. I bet her and the co-pilot had a good conversation.

Reading the comments in the link are funny - who was at fault ATC or the pilot of the E135 ?? Or maybe the Delta pilot.
*** No one listens to the audio ***

Actually the guys videoing the airport brought the issue to the front page. The FAA was already involved in the issue when it happened.
The tower gave them a number to call - that means the FAA is telling you - you made a mistake - did not follow the issued instructions and lets talk about this matter. So the investigative folder opened as soon as the crew was given a number to call.

1040- Swath 12 working Brickyard CP (237.15) Chat about being early and maybe having to burn some extra fuel. Advises Huntress (260.9) that they are too heavy to land. Options-- have swath 12 stay up for all CAP or have Swath 13 take off with only 100K fuel and let Swath 12 refuel them to get down to landing weight.

Seems they are way early for CAP. Starts at Philly at 12:15pm and KILG at 12:30pm local.
Couple Langley guys up A/A working down South A/A 298.800 talking about setup to land runway 8 at Langley.
