Interesting capability from DSP:

Trooper 2 (N1SP) and Trooper 4 (N275SP, but I think pending number change to N2SP) working medevac from a scene in Kent Co, while Trooper 5(?) (N6SP) provides overwatch in New Castle Co.
This is normal for them. Quicker to transport via helo to hospital. State covers a lot of ground with the helicopters.

14:45 EST Fighters are tracking a circular object....but I see this weather balloon in the same area
The tracking data from the balloon is on 404.500 MHz (FM)
22 pilot mentioned a balloon looking object, or what he thought was maybe a very bright object on the ground. Sounds like clouds are getting in the way.

Another article says since they have 4 choppers now two will be based at Georgetown downstate
and two at Summit KEVY upstate.

Key Lime Charter company from the almost LA runway incursion other day is not happy..
Gonzaga Jet Charter Owner Says Incident Coverage ‘Irresponsible’

Yes, I wasn’t referring to DSP’s medevac capability but rather that they have three helos staffed. I thought previously they’d taken Trooper 4 out of service to work POTUS overwatch, which was why TROY/MUSSEL had come in during the latter half of the term to work overwatch?

Yeah - I typed my reply a bit weird - they are like NJ that has multiple helos active at one time. Mostly for MedEVAC but for police duties as well. I always remember Delaware having several helos based on the state length and locations needed to cover.

Odd flight inbound the US today from Iceland stop BEC006 A-320 (6830A5) Government of Kazakhstan.
Next stop Orlando then Brazil.
Maybe a wild guess - but transport for additional Embraer personnel for crash investigation - or maybe delivering something for Embraer to examine in their facilities.

The VH3 was Nighthawk 8 and it landed on the army national guard ramp.
