They heading back home with no tanker support?
I guess not.....probably why they are watching the weather as they go.....

now on 125.575 altitude is 27K not 21K as I reported earlier Now on 135.325 14:31 EST

Range: 1,500 nmi (1,700 mi, 2,800 km)
Fuel capacity: 18,250 lb (8,278 kg) internal

versus F15

Ferry range: 3,000 nmi (3,500 mi, 5,600 km) with conformal fuel tanks and three external fuel tanks
Fuel capacity: 13,455 lb (6,103 kg) internal
up to 3 × 600 US gallons (2,300 L) external drop tanks for ferry flight or extended range/loitering time.

135.700 for Boston Center at 14:45 EST ..... real weak at that point for me and nothing heard on the air/air anymore.

Checking tape there was a AXEMAN-1 flight req FL 16k direct Salisbury.
Also heard a WARDOG-21 flight of two headed South.. Looks like annual Savannah time.

Currently six Langley T-38's working out of Savannah.. Ginzu,Wombats.

NOAA Beechcraft King Air N65RF taxis to the NOAA Aircraft Operations
Center upon arrival in Lakeland, Florida. Credit: Sophie Talbert, NOAA

NOAA’s newest aircraft, a Beechcraft King Air 360 CER turboprop, has arrived at the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center in Lakeland, Florida.

The new aircraft, designated N65RF, is configured to support NOAA coastal mapping missions and aerial surveys of damage in communities after events like hurricane landfall, tornadoes or flooding. With a camera bay in the aircraft belly and work stations for sensor operators, the aircraft will be able to obtain and process vital aerial imagery in-flight, giving emergency managers rapid understanding of conditions on the ground.

The twin-engine aircraft was built at Textron Aviation’s factory in Wichita, Kansas, and modified by Avcon Industries (Newton, Kansas), as part of a $13.9 million contract to Textron Aviation, Inc.

Was just looking through the new thread posting on RR (mixed bag of everything) but this one could be interesting.

Could be natural occurance related to sun activity or whatever....or perhaps military......either way should be interesting to follow.

About 1822L - SOL33 calling MAINSAIL for r/c on 11175.

About 1830L - RHETORIC with message LOEIVY of 172 characters. Can hear the regret in the guy's voice as he says "Message of...one hundred and seventy-two characters...follows."

About 1852L - Sounded like LOBO01 calling any radio for r/c on 11175.

22:25 EST LOB987 4X-ICA hex 738C06 inbound to Dover AFB direct from Tel Aviv Israel Boeing 747-400

Technically this is Challenge Airlines IL (normally code ICL) but flying under LOB code tonight......perhaps IAF designator like CMB (CAMBER) for commercial USA airlines doing military work.

the search function as mentioned by Mark and used exhaustively by myself has the answer

also per Ron's list
266.40000756th ARS interplane
I don't know why Kiwi doesn't show up, but it appears to be immediately west of the Dare County ranges in NC. This freq was a preset in the VA ANG radios when they had A-7D's at RIC. I've been told that it was part of a larger 'Peachtree' track, but its northernmost end is considerably south of me. I seem to recall some talk on the freq years ago about the ILM 173 radial, which I'm thinking would be more like the 353 radial up in the Dare area.

Hoping to visit that zone during Spring Break

COUGR38, a USAF Learjet with "Scott Field" emblazoned on its tail, flew in from the Midwest, did a number of circuits around KILG, and is now flying just east of Richmond, apparently on a long training flight. It's the first military aircraft I've seen in about two weeks of extremely low and murky ceilings.

I like the legacy "Scott Field" for the tails.
