I'm also keeping January 20 open in case of activity around here on President Biden's final day in office...

Again, new year greetings to all of you!
OT: Getting busy already in DC :)
I imagine C-32 flying from Andrews to KILG on Jan 20.. Short hop. KILG will be mobbed with Press.
Still not using new USMC VH-92 chopper at the WH landing site.

One of the V-22s in NH21 FLT (of 4x) broke down upon landing at CSG. NH21 FLT continued on to AUS yesterday as a FLT of 3x and was joined by a replacement today. I assume they'll continue westward tomorrow.

The V-22 that broke down, 168297, returned to NYG as NH32 today.
Nvm, they landed at BUR last night.

@mdmonitor how recent were those pics?

You got the only version that is given out, if you want to make an import list out of it you need to do the work, since the author has done the work putting it together for you
Yes, it's quite obvious the amount of work put into this list and it is greatly appreciated. And I am aware of what needs to be done to extract what I need from it. My question was in regard to another list out there that could be easily imported, that someone else has, and can share. You never know until you ask.
Have a good day.

We have had rockets shoot right up the East coast for more polar orbits. I don't think 3 degrees difference will mean anything
as as long it is over the water.
Don't forget Wallops Island :)
Top secret launch coming up in March.. Wallops Island Launch Schedule
The Cape site in Florida is normally used up to a maxiumum of 55 degree inclination orbits for northbound launches - otherwise the trajectory would be over the US east coast and that is not permitted. Southbound is a bit more open but for most polar launches they use Vandenburg AFB in CA and launch south since there is nothing but water that direction.

Actually the 3 degrees means a lot - both fuel and payload wise. That was one of the reasons SpaceX picked the Boca Chica location as it was further south than any other continetnal point in the US. The closer you are to the equator the more the Earth helps in the launch.

From the Northwestern.edu website as an example of explaination

Why is it better to launch a spaceship from near the equator?

When a spacecraft is launched into orbit, it should end up spinning around the Earth quickly enough not to be pulled back in by the Earth's gravity. The huge rockets used in launching a spaceship help this to happen by giving a huge amount of thrust, enough to achieve escape velocity. However, the spin of the Earth itself can help give it a push as well. Anything on the surface of the Earth at the equator is already moving at 1670 kilometers per hour. If a ship is launched from the equator it goes up into space, and it is also moving around the Earth at the same speed it was moving before launching. This is because of inertia. This speed will help the spacecraft keep up a good enough speed to stay in orbit.

Why the equator? Believe it or not, the surface of the Earth is traveling faster there. If you look at two spots on one line from pole to pole, one spot on the equator and the other halfway to the pole, each will make a complete revolution in 24 hours and return to where it was. But since the Earth's shape is round, and the widest point is at the equator the spot on the equator would have to go more miles in that twenty four hours. That means that the land is moving faster at the equator than any other place on the surface of the Earth.

and this note about the Apollo program from another site .....take a look at the percentage !!

Furthermore, launches directly into equatorial orbit eliminate the need for costly adjustments to a spacecraft's launch trajectory. The maneuver to reach the 5° inclination of the Moon's orbit from the 28° N latitude of Cape Canaveral was originally estimated to reduce the payload capacity of the Apollo Program's Saturn V rocket by as much as 80%

F-22 Demo Team did a practice demo over NAS Oceana around 1500 today. Wasn’t aggressive, more or less looked like they were going through the motions. I know this past season was Razz’s last so maybe it was the new pilot getting in the saddle to start training up for their certification demo for the ACC Commander in the coming months prior to show season. Nonetheless, great way to go into the weekend.
