I've only been logging affiliations with no actual talking. The TGs have been all over the 14xxx range like someone was just spinning the dial. I would not want to speculate as to what TG is going to be what just yet. If memory serves, the 1721 radios were affiliating to 14025 and 14026.

Are these TG'S in the clear or are they encripted? Is the county tone- out talk group still encripted? Been super busy at work, so I haven't had time to monitor closely.

Just as a note, was getting the south system last night and had TG 13008 come over encrypted. Wasn't able to get any radio ID's.

Do we have any ideas why they're encrypting tone outs that are in the clear on VHF? It doesn't give me a positive outlook on the future. If tone outs are encripted, why would talk groups be in the clear?

Gonna be around Belmar for a few days. The only thing in the database for the phase 2 system not encrypted is Monmouth county 911. Is that all there is so far for public safety talk groups?

It's a very quiet system for clear comms. A couple times a day you'll hear senior transport (SCAT) buses. Once in a while the county Highway folks. As I note above, there is a rebroadcast of FD & EMS tone outs that was in the clear initially, but has been encripted since. Perhaps you'll uncover TG'S we've missed?

Ok, EMS is mostly on the system, is anybody catching the information for what channel is what?

I got my father (retired emergency services) a scanner for christmas and I need the info on the county EMS channels to program it.

JMR- so far TG 14026 is the Central EMS response and TG
14027 is South EMS response. Both have been active for last two days. So far no north activity noted?

Trusted source who declines to be mentioned indicates a strong possibility that TG 14025 will indeed be "North" EMS Response. Just FYI!

I have to reprogram again I guess!

There are 2 zones for Fire programmed into the county radios issued to EMS and the system IS up for them.

I'm surprised Neptune EMS and FIRE are not getting their own group. At least Neptune ems is on South (for now).

Rumor is asbury is going over too (hope they get their own group)

I did indeed hear chatter on TG 14025 last night and it is indeed north response. A Tinton Falls unit was on north instead of central and the dispatcher pointed that out to him.

As of 12:30 pm today Englishtown PD is off County Hotline and on P-13 on the new system. Waiting for Manalapan PD next.

After 44 years, time to sell 7 scanners, monitoring Security Guards, warehouses and taxis even if they are on NXDN/MotoTurbo doesn't appeal to me.
Thanks to all the feed providers who made this possible.
