anybody have an idea on what talkgroup "3080" is?? dnt see it listed in the RR database. secondly, ive been hearing a lot of radio traffic re-direct when liscense/records checks happen. no more hearing your neighbors records checks on main talkgroups. bummer. thanks!!
What talk group were they switching from?

NSP has started using the encrypted dispatch talk groups as info channels. Troop A has been doing this for over a year. The rest of the troop areas are starting to do the same.

Has anyone ID'd these encrypted talkgoup numbers yet? These should be easy to catch. When you hear "Switch to secure x" then an encrypted talkgroup becomes active with the same radio ID's, you've got it. It would be nice to have these documented in the DB even though we cannot monitor them.

Any of these sites active yet? Last update I heard was March for them to be active, so they should be online soon if they are not already.

Here are licensed freqs for the 3 new sites. Can anyone confirm if they are active yet? If so, can anyone confirm site numbers and control channels?

Good evening, Joe and all!

Long-time since I've posted here, but was in Lincoln today and snagged a capture from Pro96Com, as follows. Unfortunately, I didn't have the RR info loaded into this copy of Pro96Com, so the names of the other sites don't show-up!

The tower # is 182 and check-out that voice channel - 152.780? Kinda' getting into the paging area of the VHF band!

Nothing yet on the Nashville site, and didn't have time to run out to York, but would have to think that one might be running too, now.

George,
One thing that really stood out when I read the tower info from your post was

Flavor-Phase 2!

I have an older version of pro96com cause my doesn't have a "flavor". So can I start the paranoia now and ask does this mean the system is phase 2/TDMA capable.

According to the bandplan (Tables) posted above the system is showing TDMA capability on the 700 and 800 MHz bands only. That would be the ones with 2 under Slots.

Some of the military VHF and UHF P25 systems down here are like that, the control channels broadcasts extra band plans for 700 and 800 MHz with 700 and 800 MHz showing TDMA.

Anyone close enough to the York tower to tell if it is online?

Howdy Joe and all!

Sitting in York, NE, I observe that the site, 0181, is, indeed, online per the following Pro96Com data:
