Is there a way to tell the difference between type "C" trunking (Kenwood) and type "D" Trunking (IDAS) in DSD Plus. I put the 3 system frequencies in the scanner and there is no continuous control channel data stream & the bottom of the window where the talkgroup information is shows "NEXEDGE48 & RAN # 7" for one of the frequencies.

Are you having a problem decoding audio? If so can you post a screen shot? For trunk-tracking you need to run 2 instances FMP & DSD+, which requires either (a) 1 rtl sdr dongle and 1 tapped scanner, or (b) 2 rtl dongles.

DSD+ has system-type displays for IDAS, Nexedge 48 and Nexedge 96.

The channels are conventional (no trunking, no control channel) or you have not found the control channel yet.
