According to the tower data... Franklin County is even bigger...
Which Franklin tower? I've seen them both and I can tell you without a doubt there is not a MSWIN tower in southwest Miss. that even compares to the Doloroso site. It's the only tripod-base one and it's base elevation of 347 feet pretty much blows the other ones out the water. Just curious what are the specs for Doloroso say vs the two Franklin sites?
The Franklin site near Kirby is at a pretty good elevation, but the tower construction is pretty simple, similar to say a medium power FM broadcast tower. The Brookhaven west is also at a pretty high point but is constructed similar to the Franklin sites.
Hieght wise the conversion in meters to feet for Doloroso.. 400+ Franklin County 580ish.. Had the full convo on Yahoo with Mickey.....And width and awesome structure wise the Doloroso wins....tall Franklin County wins. The shortest is the Sillers antenna... though if you add the building.....
Kinda strange that the other two Wilkinson towers are not hitting...
I've scouted for the one on 24 east of Woodville and can't seem to find it. I've noticed in the some of the recent postings that it should be constructed, but since I haven't seen it, I would put a big question mark by that info. Based on the directions, if it actually existed, it would be no problem to find, so I have to question some of that info.
or the actual location...... someone didnt add data right at the FCC again lol
Now that the Natchez south tower is up running, I should be able to get some pretty good info for you once they start trunking it. That tower, as a crow flies, is probably 3-5 air miles or less from my house. I'm monitoring it with Pro96Com right now, still pretty inconclusive. Not showing any neighboring towers or talk groups. I know W&F is frequently hitting on the Natchez north tower.
Being that these things are 400 to 600 feet high.... should be easy to see lol...

All the southeast towers I've visited (19 I think) are guyed, except the Greene County WCC tower and the co-located tower at Fountainbleau so far. See my profile album for some low rez pics. Some day I'll post the originals somwhere maybe.
Cannonsburg should be Fayette and Cloverdale = Natchez South (officially)
Seems only 4 sites left over that way.

After mapping everything out I'm going to say.....
Jefferson North should be 138 (2 or all 3 neighbors listings from Natchez N., Fayette, and/or Union Church would pretty much confirm that)
Pinckneyville will be 125 and Wilkinson County will be 126. (right in sequence with Liberty and Quinn.)
Jeanette? Dunno, 143 or 145 I guess since it seems it is going to pretty near the last site brought online and those are the only numbers left in the range of numbers over that way.
I'll see if I can fill in some more blanks over my way this weekend hopefully.

Should go into wide area trunking any time.. both them and Doloroso should link all together... I figure the subzone is Jefferson, Adams, Wilkinson , another sz Lincoln, Franklin Amite. And so forth.
145 is Jackson confirmed.
