Why does site 303 Lexiington have 771.55625 marked as a alt CC?

The default loadout for that primary CC is
773.05625 (cwid)
773.30625a
773.55625a
773.80625d
(plus the 2 freqs not covered by the state license of course)

Anyone that can provide up to date info on the Delta Flood, SOW, and Winston county temp sites?(surely by now something has changed)
We know one of Delta temp sites was moved to Cleveland months ago, so which one?
Has the Ridgeland site been changed over to 700MHz yet?

Crystal Springs Police Department

Entities that have notified the WCC about joining MSWIN and asked the WCC to come and talk to them at their Board Meetings.

Panola County
Sharkey County
Warren County
City of Diamondhead

The WCC is working with Northeast MS Electric Power Association. Radios have been loaned to them for testing; they love the system and are working on getting procurement in place by July to purchase radios. The WCC is working with the FCC to make sure EPAs can utilize our spectrum based on what we define as public safety. We do have spectrum and capacity enough for them to come onto the system.

All updates are per submissions. 303, 309, and 311 have had subs which were added to the db. Have so far had no news as to changes to the temp sites or changes to 700 from the 800 site. Copiah County SO, CSPD and eventually HPD, WPD, and CLCCPD will all have TG's on MSWIN. CCSO should already, as I have had at least 6 submissions saying they are on, but not a single tg as the submitter has not had a scanner capable of trunking the MSWIN (He runs an PRO-96, so all he can do is say he heard them on freq so n so. And no joy on him running PRO96Com... yet) So hopefully someone in the vicinity of Copiah County with a MSWIN capable scanner can do a closer listening and nab the CCSO, CSPD tg's. (Although CLCCPD and WPD may just share a County Common Law TG,..)

In regards to Holly Springs P.D., I know that as of last night they were still operating their old, conventional frequency, as I was up that way and heard them. Also, regarding Marshall County, Marshall S.O. is using MSWIN, as is Panola S.O., as I have heard them several times. Of course you may be meaning the rest of the county/city government of those places, and not just the law enforcement agencies that I mentioned.

As always, good info that you provided Mike. I'll keep an ear peeled to see if I hear anything new come online up this way.

Just to be clear those are the MWCC's words not mine. Not necessarily meaning they are live yet, but that they have committed to joining MSWIN and have at least the paperwork part of the process done. I'm just passing along some things to keep in mind when ya'll are on the hunt.

Checking over some recordings and found Clarke County testing on TG 15 back on 8/19/13.
Also somebody on TG 20 on the Bay Springs tower on 9/11/13, but the only two TX I recorded weren't intelligible.

Neither agency has enough radios/money yet to outfit their entire force so the old and the new will be being used together for a while still.

Back in February the City Council of Columbus unanimously approved a MOU between it an the MWCC to join MSWIN

OK so Ridgeland (257) is still using 800 MHz, I'm listening to, and decoding Lake Cavaleir (212) in Jackson County as I type this.

Cleveland PD HAS moved over to the MSWIN system. The database has already been updated. no immediate plans for anyone else to move over as of right now.

Per Copiah County Emergency Services, Copiah EMA IS using MSWIN as primary comms, County Fire is still primary VHF... Was not told on SO... So guys in the area, with MSWIN capable scanners, please monitor closely, especially now that Crystal Springs PD is joining. Expect pretty soon after that, Hazelhurst and Wesson PD's (possibly Co-Lin PD also.) No word on timeline for Copiah Fire Departments to join.

While I'm in the neighborhood. Was hearing Humphreys County SO on ST SE 3 1 or 2 days this week. Was only hearing the dispatcher though. RID 1069207. Not sure why it was like that, but it seems they are fully onboard MSWIN now, or at least nearly so.

Anyone else been hearing "PATHFINDER" on GCI 3? Haven't really concentrated on what they're talking about but I hear them pretty much every day.

I live in crystal springs and the county EOC is still talking to fire departments on the old channels.
CSPD is still talking and dispatching on the old channels. Can not find any listing for CSPD with a new license In the FCC date base. So how do we find out who is using what? If any one in Copiah County is talking on WIN25 It would be on the Hazlehurst WIN25 tower. I will call the CSPD dispatcher and find out what i can, Probably by Tuesday or Wednesday i may have some more information

Per Mr. Drane who is with Copiah EMA, EMA is MSWIN, Fire is still VHF. CSPD has the OK, and is being given radios to test on MSWIN. SO I didn't get an answer on. The way you find out if the agency won't talk about it, is to have wildcards on your scanner enabled, and search for new TG's. Once you find new ones, you listen, listen, listen, and ID who it is. The same way we find, and ID any unknown TG on an TRS, new freq on conventional etc. CSPD will NOT have a new license, unless they build their own MSWIN site. And they will not just be on the 1 MSWIN tower. CSPD assists MHP, as well as CCSO up to the Hinds County Line on occaision, has even done mutual aid, and pursuits to nearly Georgetown, had pursuits all the way to Hazelhurst. You will hear them on ANY site they get near enough to affiliate with. Also, many other agencies that use MSWIN, also are simulcasting on VHF, or UHF.. or are just using MSWIN for interop. As for everyone just talking on the Hazelhurst site, umm... You may want to read up on how Trunked systems work, so you will understand what we say when we say that any unit with a MSWIN radio will affiliate with any site they are close enough to, such as the Allen site (Copiah County very near the AVFD base, and repeater site).

Is it even a MSWIN MWCC SOW? Doesn't look like the original 3, which aren't (weren't) on goose neck trailers, or maybe it's the replacement for the wrecked one.

Is it powered up yet, or just sitting idle for now? If it's running try to sniff out what it's transmitting when you get a chance.
