I have good news, and Bad news...
Over time, there have been a number of reports of crashes, particularly with PSREdit500, but with PSREdit300 as well. As time went on, a pattern emerged that began to point to the licensing and protection package that I was using as the culprit.
The good news is that this has now been confirmed to be the case, and that I have purchased a new protection and licensing system to use. Those that have tested the latest version of PSREdit500 (in beta at the moment) have reported that the crash issue that they were seeing on a regular basis has stopped, and the program is much more stable. I expect that these results will also translate over to PSREdit300 and PSREdit100 as well.
Now the bad news...
Since I am switching to a new licensing system, the software keys and serial numbers previously issued will no longer work. Unfortunately there's no way around this issue, and since I would prefer to have a
stable product in your hands, this change is a necessary change. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
I have generated new software keys for all customers that have purchased any of the PSREdit products from day 1. To retrieve your new license keys for your PSREdit products, please visit the following link:
License code Retrieval
On this page, enter the email address you used when you registered your software and click on the submit button. Within a few minutes, you should receive an email containing all PSREdit license information that
matches your email address.
Note: If you no longer have access to the email address you used to register your software, please contact me at
support@psredit.com. Include any information you can that will help me to verify your
identity and I will update the license database with your new email address for you.
I'm making the license keys available now so that those that want them may have them when the software becomes available. I expect to release updates with the new protection in place early next week. I want to
give those that are testing this fix a few more days just to be sure that it does indeed resolve the issue.
On a side note, if you are currently running the program in trial mode, or your trial has expired, a side effect of changing to the new protection system is that you will get another 30 day free trial out of
the deal...
