Win500 (I presume that's one of the "all three programs" you tested) does import multi-site systems - within the confines of how the scanner handles multi-site systems. That is, all site CCs go into a single TSYS object. (If you want to create multiple TSYS objects to handle more sites/CCs than will fit in a single scanner TSYS object, that's pretty easy in Win500: import selected sites, each group into its own TSYS, then copy/paste the TGRPs from one TSYS to all the others.)
Hi again Don and yes yours was one of the three. The one that I really liked except for that issue. If you've fixed it since we talked last then that's great to hear and I guess I should have mentioned that it's been a month or so since we did. But at the time it didn't do that and after writing to you asking if I was doing something wrong you responded that yours didn't do it. So it left one for me to choose. Both yours and this one are great programs but in the end it was the MS import ability of this one that made the choice for me. With this one it's click on the import feature, select system, select sites and then select TGs assign scanlist and import. IF there are more than the 32 CCs w/ALTs that you allow this program automatically creates a second TS and imports that as well along with associated TGs for said systems.
It makes it really nice especially for large multi site systems like Star Com21, Safe-T and Racom IA/Il amongst others.
As an example right now in my Iowa folder there are 18 Racom systems loaded broken into 4 geo areas of Council Bluffs, Davenport, Des Moines, and Cedar Falls. This required 4 import actions and it was all done.
You have a great program as I said in the PM when we spoke but for me as I also said the lack of MS import functionality was something I couldn't live without although your TG import selection process is by far the best out there to me.
Now if you and Mike would combine resources to make a Mega-Program you can put me down to buy it
