Mike,

Any way to move the "move up & move down" buttons off to the blank area on the right of the page where there nothing shown? on v1.10 it seems to hover over the listing 2 rows above the last 2 rows of data.

As I understand it when setting the Backlight setting to ON under the TGRP properties, shouldn't the LCD backlight come on when there is traffic on that TGRP? If so then something is not working because I have all my TGRPs set to Backlight ON but it never comes on no matter which TGRP has traffic. maybe there is another setting somewhere that I am missing. Does anyone else have this trouble or am I mistaken about the functionality? Thanks, and BTW I love the software!!!

Me too but I kept my mouth shut since I had all the other issues recently and figured it was just me.

I tried editing it manually but it still won't work.

What's up with that?

You need to highlight all talkgroups, right click and select Edit Talkgroup. Alert and Lighting functions are on the right of dialog. Do the same for any conventional objects as desired.

Alternately, you can select objects individually and tailor as you wish.

What is your Backlight mode set to on the General Configuration page? I just tested the backlight setting here on both conventional and talkgroup objects and it appears to be working as it should.

Make sure the Backlight mode on the General Configuration page is not set to Stealth and the Area setting is set to LCD/Keypad/or Both (I noticed it blank here on one of my files, I guess I have a bug to fix)

All of my TGRPs and CONV objects have the backlight setting to ON and the LED set to ON. The LED works fine but the backlight doesn't do anything. The settings on the general configuration page are set to NORMAL and BOTH. I am not sure why it does not work. Maybe another setting somewhere but I cannot find it.

If you'd like, you can email your bin file to me. I'll take a look at it and see what I can find out. You can email it to support@psredit.com if you're interested.

I was about to post about that. I noticed that when I selected LCD several times and upload it to the radio, it wouldn't take the change.

Hello,

PSREdit is great software! :) I am having one small issue programming a 3600 Baud UHF MOT TSYS object using the custom table. The base frequency is 493.0125 MHz and the step is 25.0 KHz. PSREdit won't save 493.0125 MHz. Instead the software saves the base frequency as 493.01125 MHz, and loads the radio as such. I can change it in the radio. Is there a fix I can use or is it supposed to be this way?

Yep, that was a bug. It's been fixed in 1.12

I think it's now happening with the Global Attenuation settings. Maybe you can verify that.

I have been having all kinds of problems in this area of the program. I get it to work for one frequency, and then another one starts exhibiting the problem. I'll look into this again.

A minor annoyance (to me any way).
Would it be possible to add the Move Up/Down function the the "Trunking System" drop-down in the Trunking Objects section.

I set my radio with each system in my area assigned to its own Scan List. On the "General Configuration" screen I have them sorted to correspond with the Scan List they are assigned to (which also is my order of scanning preference for each of the systems). Unfortunately I am left with them in a totally different order in the drop-down referred to.

The systems are in the order they are found in the radio. I'm not sure how I can re-order them consistently. Let me think on that.

Mike,

I got my backlight issue resolved. Check the link as to how: http://www.radioreference.com/forums/showthread.php?p=643167&posted=1#post643167

One thing I was thinking about, would it be possible to add a NEXT and PREV button to the TGRP edit page so that you can open the first TGRP make your changes then hit NEXT and it saves the current data and cycles to the next record in the list. The same for PREV as well. Just a thought that would be nice, at least in my opinion. Thanks!!!
