Anybody figure out what simplex frequencies users of this system might use to talk around/talk off it?

I've found 155.475 VLAW31 in FM being used by State Police to communicate with local police.

Depends on the agency. DCNR uses their legacy VHF stuff still. Some agencies make use of the old A34T/D34T frequency that was available in OpenSky radios. This is 851.4375 with a 156.7 PL or NAC 293.
All STARNET radios are supposed to have VTAC12 available for simplex use. PGC uses legacy VHF simplex channels, as does PennDOT.

I dont think the old PennDOT VHF freqs are listed in the DB, but they are licensed still. It is freqs their truck inspectors used back when PennDOT was the home for what are now PSP truck enforcement officers. I think 151.010 was one. I'd have to dig through old old docs. The PGC freqs are listed in the DB.

As for others, gonna have to hope a close call hit reveals. They could theoretically show up anywhere the Commonwealth holds a license, especially if those licenses have come under the control of PSPs radio group managing the P25 network.

Blame Canada.

It is not just Canada. It beams roughly southeast with a very sharp cut off. You can be less than 1 mile SW of the tower and have zero reception. When it first came on the air it drove me nuts trying to locate it.

Georges Twp (Fayette62) 800 sites. I do see any PEERS/NEIGHBORS for this site. Does this site act as a standalone trunked system?

I have tried Unitrunker and Procomm

From the fact sheet: does this large curve from Harrisburg to Elk County suggest they have a single hop microwave link between these two points? 😆

No. High capacity fiber circuit between the primary core and geo-redundant core.

There are a lot of 1's and 0's moving through that pipeline every second of the day, 24/7/365.

It is interesting that you report it not showing any neighbors. There are no neighbors in the database, so that info was never logged by anyone it would seem.
That’s what I figured but I had no idea that there was a dedicated fiber connection between the two. That’s pretty neat

Any of the curved lines are non-Commonwealth links. Either county microwave or fiber. The big one you asked about belongs to KINBER. Maps & Diagrams | KINBER | Keystone Initiative For Network Based Education Research

I can't speak for any other agency's radios but as far as I'm aware all the ECEN radios have all the V-Call/V-Tac channels in them and at least in the fire radios they also have their own channel that's labeled in the radios as "ECEN T/A" (155.355 DCS:025)

Was the old PERR01 A/G site moved to the CENT08 tower? The county Centre, but the site still says PERR01

I can't seem to get any activity on the frequencies that are listed for CENT08. Is anyone else getting activity or does anyone know where the tower located?
Are you asking about the 700 MHz site at CENT08, or the VHF site? The 700 sites are for Air-Ground ops. Stick with the VHF site.

All of the site locations are in the database. Go to the site detail pages and all the info you seek is right there.

Is anyone hearing the control channel on this site?

1 (1)146 (92)Harrison City 700 AG (WEST03)Westmoreland770.95625c773.06875a773.84375
I was out that way over Thanksgiving and could not find these or any other 700mhz control channels. Based on the map, I should have been within a few miles of it.

It's been quite since at least mid-october. I have been unable to pick up anything in the 750MHz or 800MHz range that's P25. The OpenSky site is still on air at WEST03
