Not entirely true. Listen during a snowstorm, PennDOT is entirely "in the clear" and (at least in my region of the state) they never shut up when plowingIf you’re a avid scanner listener, this is not a system to listen to with all the encryption.

In addition to PSP, I have seen VOICE traffic from the Game Commission and the Pgh Tunnels TG today via DSDSo far I'm only getting PSPT D1 on 773.83475 as a data channel.
According to this document it looks like WEST03 is back in action.
Edit: The correct document did not get linked. There's a "Petition for Reconsideration" that's linked to the State License WPTZ795.
This should be a First Energy talkgroup, correct? I have dozens of hits on this talkgroup logged in Trunking Recorder, and it sounds like some kind of talkaround or private talkgroup for the line crews from what I can hear. It honestly sounds like the kind of radio traffic you hear from Penndot crews 🙄. It sounds like they're using it as a CB channel.Over the last couple storms, I was getting hits on TG40039 where they kept talking about different jobs they were going to, and about which exits to get off or how many parking spots were left in the hotel lot. Could this be a work crew or a storm channel?
It is only the first day . I will let it run and I will update as needed. I was a little suspicious as well .. I shut down the program and restarted it that is why the hits are low. Those look like bad decodes to me. No hits, both flagged as primary control? The 151 is particularly suspect at a site consisting of all 161 MHz frequencies. Oh and the other is flagged as control but also TDMA? Not possible on this system.
It's helpful to try to understand what you are seeing before reporting/submitting it. In this case, you're seeing "new channels" pop up that are being reported as both TDMA and control channel capable, which simply isn't possible on the STARNet ASTRO 25 system, as I've twice noted. That alone is reason to suspect bad decoding, especially when coupled with the fact that all three screenshots you've posted show your decoding rate well below 100%.I'm only reporting what I see. I will leave this for the Super Geniuses to figure out.
