Does anyone know if Six Mile FD has gone on the Fleettalk system? The WYFF news had a short update showing a Pickens County fire department and new radios.

Has far as I understand it yes all departments in the county are going to the fleettalk system. That includes all public works stuff to like road, landfill and so on.

Six Mile FD's FCC radio license expired in March of 2023 and the application for temporary operation was rejected or withdrawn. I suspect that Fleetcom put Six Mile FD on their existing site on Six Mile mountain until the expanded county system goes live. I can't monitor them from my TR location. Have you heard them on the 159.1125 frequency?

I was over in Easley last week and drove past the new listed tower site on Cleveland Street. The new building is complete and the tower is almost up.

Looks like Six Mile FD has an FCC STA to keep using their repeater until the Nexedge system goes online. The Cleveland Street tower and building is complete. They are getting there.
Is the information listed for Six Mile correct. I am running DSD this morning in Clemson and I am showing 10 frequencies under the channel heading. I am also showing neighbors as 4, 5, 9, 10, 12 and 25.

The system has licenses under Pickens County and under Rock Communications. You have more information than most people do at this time.

What are you using to monitor it with? I guess I'll be getting some SDR software.
I am running DSD+FL and do not see anything. What is the frequency you are seeing this on?
OK after some updates here is what I am hearing on 460.025. Easley PD and Pickens sheriff. Just heard a fire com while typing this. Active talk groups here in Dacusville are 21474, 11074, 11691 and 11713.
It is looking like DSD+FL has to learn a little. After staying on the control channel it is really going non stop now. I have heard everyone in Pickens county except fire.
I see one fault with this system already, some radios come up ad the officers name.

Who wants to help me update my equipment? My SDS100 barely picks up the New Fleettalk NXDN stuff. Radio is quiet. I have the NXDN upgrade installed.

Would the Uniden BCD160DN work in the Pickens area?
Easley site submitted, Paris Mountain site correction submitted (site ID is 15, not 0), and additional frequencies and correct LCN order submitted for the Glassy Mountain site. Would have consolidated into one submission if I knew I was obtaining corrections for the other 2 issues at the start. Scanners should seamlessly track after things are updated.

It will not for FleetTalk, which the public safety agencies in the county have migrated to. You'll need a scanner capable of NXDN trunking.
Weird, I get no signs of a signal on 460.075, but get CC and all other locals.
