Living a block away from Pickens station 10, they still have the quad dipole 151 mhz antenna, have not seen any changes to the antenna.

I heard rural fire department operations yesterday on 151.415 mhz. According to someone associated with the county, dispatching is being done from the EOC while the sheriff's office 911 center is being changed over.

Easley and others have already been on 800, they went back to VHF and UHF, what does that tell you?
Yes Wilson nc is were im from they were on nextell radios. With next edge using vhf and 800 on there side fire dept used it for just talking among each other but police used it for. Dispband they finally got rid of it and went to 800 viper system

It’s getting closer to going fully live! Ems, sheriff,City police departments and Easley fire are already live. Stations are going through their trainings this week and maybe next. I think the original plan was to go live August 1 but now as early as this upcoming Monday. Paging will be done simulcast on vhv so the pagers will be able to alert.
