Yeah and most of the mobiles have been programmed as well as portable I know a few agencies were testing on the new system but I haven't had the time to actively engage in monitoring

Almost constant testing going on this evening. Sounds like testing signal strength by grid locations between dispatcher and techs. Logging what I can in Pro96Com

It looks like TG 1001 is going to be Wells' "radio repair" group on the system.

Morning Activity

It looks like TG 1001 is going to be Wells' "radio repair" group on the system.

From what I'm seeing this morning, Dispatch is on Console 9 transmitting on TG 1000 and the techs reply on TG 101 with mostly radio 1038 or 1036.

This is very similar to what I've seen so far. Some hits on other TGs but haven't heard any actual audio on anything but those 2 channels and I believe from those 4 RIDs.

I have captured a lot of affiliations to other talkgroups, but no traffic on any of them. I suspect it happens when somebody spins the dial (or whatever mechanism steps through the talkgroups) on a radio.

I see the RRDB has been updated...with what is probably the whole system! To whomever submitted it...thank you. But it does take the fun out of it too :)

I was going to say something about taking the fun out of it, but Thunderknight beat me to it. LOL.

I'm going to venture a guess, and I could be wrong, that the entire system update is not accurate. That appears to have come from the last two pages of this document (https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&...29tbXVuaWNhdGlvbnN8Z3g6NmY5NzRhNjdmYTIyYTdiOA). It appears to be just a listing of every county radio resource. Some of the direct ground channels (analog simplex) channels are listed in there as well as 8CALL and 8TAC channels. The talk group numbers also don't appear to line up with what others have reported for testing. I don't think they are doing grid testing on the Saratoga County Fire Interop talk group.

Again, I could be wrong here but I would take that info with a grain of salt. I'm sure it's an accurate list of every channel option that will be available to be programmed into a radio, but not an accurate listing of TG numbers. I think the document is oversimplifying the term talk group.
