Folks,

A reminder that only confirmed data should be submitted to the database. That means personally verified, not obtained second or third hand.

If you find an official document containing relevant info, you need to be clear about that when making a submission, and either provide a link to it or ask the database admin to contact you for further details.

Generally speaking, stuff like that belongs in the wiki, not the database. Any member is able to edit the wiki, so please do not make submissions for the wiki through the database expecting us to do the work for you.

The list of "talkgroups" that was submitted for this system is a perfect example of why data that is not vetted shouldn't be submitted. Nowhere in the submission did it make reference to the list being part of a document found online, nor was a link to the original document provided. Unfortunately, we admins took the submission on face value and we added the data. Yes, we dropped the ball on our end. It happens from time to time, none of us are perfect.

checked my logs this morning and seen new activity New Uids Appearing 7904 7905 and TalkGroups 101/102/104/105/107 as of this morning

Hmm. If they are sticking with similar numbering to the MultiNet system, those would be County units (probably Communications).

Thats what I was thinking. 79 is Bureau staff (operations ) but you could be 100% correct probably Communications

i found out that the new system and the new dispatch frequency for fire and ems 155.655 will go online on oct 15th unless something changes.

Anyone have any rid logs for this evening? Just got back from new 800 radio training and we got to play around with some of the new radios. Probably would have noticed a lot of 07XX and 04XX.

Only one I've actually logged myself (by scanner wildcard, not pro96com) was TG 110 as TAC 10. TAC 10 is designated as the county EMS Tac according to the training and docs I got at my new radio system training the other day.

The system hopefully be going live in the coming weeks. As field testing and training has been concluded and the departments are getting the radios switched over. Vhf paging has been tested but no idea as an up time on that.

Confirmed tonight that TalkGroup 106 is TAC 6 East Greenbush with my whistler 1040 and someone testing portable.
So that should confirm 101 thru 110 based on zones and channels released at training.
Anyone know what TalkGroup Tac 21 or Tac 31 will be?

So where was portable 1121? If your theory is correct then it should follow the same pattern 121 ext.

I'd bet that the best anyone will do with a portable database is showing what agency owns the portable. I'm sure they will be as fungible in most cases as portables are in the current system and on all the other local trunks.

Does anyone know what Troy's plan is once the county starts their migration? Are they keeping their own P25 system or will they move over to the county system? Doesn't seem like they have done much with it in several years.
